Danity Kane may still be cooking up their album, but that hasn’t stopped the group from serving up new material – both solo and as a collective.
The latest cut comes courtesy of member Dawn Richard, who has put her unique spin on Katy Perry‘s chart smash ‘Dark Horse’.
Christened the ‘Unicorn Remix’, the track was recorded during a break at a recording studio session for DK.
Speaking on the re-fix, Dawn said: “It’s always fun to be in the lab with Noisecastle III. We were working on the Danity Kane project and decided to randomly take a break and this happened lol… For sh*ts and giggles… Something only the hearts can appreciate. We always do things with our little twist. Done in true heart music form.”

Artistic use is not the same as using it just to fix things. The auto-tune gives vocals a robotic/electronic sound that can be pretty cool when used appropriately
