After building stars out of the likes of rapper Joseline Hernandez (above) on ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’, ‘Myx’ mogul Mona-Scott Young has set her sights on radio this year!
For, in a move that’ll see her extend her television reign, the ‘Monami’ creator has teamed up with Emmis Communications to launch the ‘This Is Hot 97‘ TV series!
Details below…
Set for takeoff on March 31st, the VH1 reality series will see fans pulled from the airwaves and thrown inside the business’ NYC office, following its stars and stars as they run the Rhythmic Contemporary station.
Billed as a comedy, the show will star station staples Laura Stylez, Peter Rosenberg, Funkmaster Flex, Ebro Darden, Angie Martinez and Miss Info, hitting screens for half an hour at a time, airing as Young continues work on ‘Love & Hip Hop LA.’
Keep it locked on That Grape Juice for more on the forthcoming show!

Oh yes, mutha will be watching.
Ayeeee, I’m finna tune in.
Excited as phuck.
Charlamagne will not be able to take!
Wait, they’re making a Love and Hip Hop Los Angeles?
I don’t watch TV but I’ll watch this and yay at LHHLA
i’d rather see power 105
I prefer power 105 tbh
Puerto Rico Princess Joseline is so pretty. I love her with long hair. Makes her look more feminine.
Sounds dumb as hell like the rest of the ghetto trash she produces. Don’t care for another scripted, fake, co*n like bullish*t on TV. We still got that moose NeNe Leakes on the loose…
I know Power 105 morning show is coming to Diddy’s Revolt TV this month. I guess Hot 97 is trying to compete.
