‘Vicious Lies’ maestro Big Boi has found himself a new home this year, joining Sade, Michael Jackson and ‘DUI’ singer Ciara at ‘Epic Records.’
Details on his epic new move after the jump…
Headed by LA Reid and ‘Vested in Culture’ mastermind Sylvia Rhone, ‘Epic‘ welcomed the ‘Hip Hop Star’ to its roster after watching the star reunite with Andre 3000 to reform Outkast,
Speaking to ‘The Huffington Post‘, he shared:
“I’m back with [Antonio] L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone. Got a brand new situation.”
Marking a return to Reid after signing with him in 1992, Boi’s new label situation comes after he entered a management agreement with Jordan Feldstein‘s ‘Career Artist Management’, formerly home to ‘Brave’ singer Sara Bareilles and currently responsible for Robin Thicke, steering his career to the ‘Hot 100’ heavens with ‘Blurred Lines‘ in 2013.
On Reid, Big added:
“That’s my mentor. He understands my music. And one thing about L.A. Reid, there are no creative restraints. He trusts my ear and let’s me make the music I want to make. We love being in business together. That’s my big brother.”
