The diva’s manager Jermaine Durpi took to Instagram moments ago, where he confirmed that the latest song to be lifted from Mimi’s ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’ album is titled ‘Thirsty’ and will be debuting on Power 105.1 today.
For us, the arrival of a new cut doesn’t particularly surprise. As, not only is the release of ‘The Elusive Chanteuse’ a mere two weeks away, ol’ Mariah will be kicking off the Today Show Summer Concert Series this Friday – where she’ll likely be tasked with performing new material. Hence, giving fans a few days to marinate on the track makes a wealth of sense.
Of course, it naturally begs the question of whether the masses will warm to the Hit Boy produced song – especially after the three singles that preceded it tanked.
Needless to say, the answer arrives in a matter of hours.
