No doubt hoping to break ground currently owned by Brit-Pop foursome Little Mix, the Urban Pop group set their sights on chart glory with new single ‘Boss‘, teased today on their official ‘Instagram‘ page!

Though we’ll wait until the cut’s release in five days time before weighing on it completely, we can’t say we’re impressed by what we heard.
For, as their fans would have already noticed, the girls aren’t receiving the support their time on the ‘X Factor USA’ should have secured them, which is why playing it safe until they do would be the safest move from them to make.
Safe, seeing them put those ‘Harmonies’ to good use and weave their way into the hearts of Ariana Grande‘s fan base by releasing jams cut from the same cloth, pulling in audiences with Urban production, sugary sweet top-lines and runs, belts and five part harmonies that’d give them a clear point of difference!
What we had in mind?
I completely disagree. This song is completely unique to the girls. They took their time to figure out a sound that for them and went with it. Not every song is going to be the same so them taking a chance with a single that is different and upbeat was a major move in my (and many peoples ) opinions. I am very much looking forward to seeing this single on the charts.
Ok. What the hell are you talking about? The buzz around them is greater than ever. I hear very little similarities to Ariana Grande. You must have pulled that one out of your ass. They’re the biggest thing to ever come out of X Factor USA. This song is about to smash.

Get your facts right, Wings charted on Hot 100 singles chart & it was certified Gold in 2013 selling over 500,000 & was in the top 40 in radio airplay. Little Mix have sold more records than 5H in the USA.

ATM Little Mix owns the title of the biggest western girl group, When 5H sells 5 million plus records internationally their fanbase can then put 5H at the top.

Funny you say that “MarianaMixer” since little Mix’s sales in the US (where it matters) have been sh*t and they’ve been in the business longer. Oh and let’s not forget certain members of 1D promoted them or else they would’ve flopped harder. It’s really sad.

You do not know what you are talking about, Little Mix has the 2 biggest first week album sales for a girl group since 2009, the last girl group to sell more was Pussycat Dolls. DNA sold 50,000 & Salute sold 44,000. 5H released a EP 3013 only sold 27,000. Don’t Demi Lovato promote 5H & all the rest of people so stop talking rubbish
I reckon this song will do better than Miss Movin On, It should chart in the Hot 100 singles chart, MMO charted in the 70’s so it has to do better than that, I will go with top 60 because I do not think they have a big enough fanbase to sell over 100,000 copies in the 1st week. The album is the more important release that tells you more about a artist’s fanbase, I still do not think they have a bigger fanbase than Little Mix & 5H album will not sell more than Little Mix’s 2 albums. I predict when the album release it will sell less than 40,000 copies in 1st week.
Well firstly, I was taken aback by this article as this is the first negative article I’ve read about the new Fifth Harmony single. However there were a few things in this article that confused me like what you said about X factor. X factor usa is actually now canceled in US because of low views and too much competition from the voice and american idol. So basically nobody watched X factor. Despite the lack of views, cancellation of the show, and coming in third place as a girl group, 5H are the only act to debut on billboard 100 plus their EP is the highest charting from any act. Furthermore, Fifth Harmony are not just a girl group, they are very quickly becoming a brand as they partner with Barbie, who will make 5H Barbie dolls later this year, and wet seal who are launching a Fifth Harmony clothing line. Fifth harmony have also worked with Aeropostale, jovani, clean and clear and much more. Moreover, 5H has one EP and one single yet they’ve already achieved so much because of their talent, energetic personalities, hard work ethic and dedicated fans. Fifth Harmony have only begun.
I agree with most of this but they have released 5 EPs & 2 singles. You cannot start seperating releases. It does not matter if the EPs were acoustic, remixes & spanish language it still was released. And Me & My Girls was released. The sales of all these release go to the same place. I hope more 5H start to understand that 5H is just starting their career & stop trying to put them above Little Mix who had international success & sold many more records in USA & around the world. 5H fans should wait until 5H reach some sort of success in USA or internationally. Freely admit there is not a massive girl group out there right now but Little Mix are the biggest western one right now. Who knows if 5H will ever surpass them
Actually me and my girls was a radio Disney exclusive, meaning it was only for Disney, it was never a single and was exclusively for their ” radio Disney next big thing” campaign. Additionally, eps don’t get the same promo as LPs do. So me and my girls wasn’t even on the EP. Fifth harmony have yet to release their first album and second single. As for fifth harmony they’ve toured America and Canada that’s it, so obviously they need to promote in other countries. 5H are working on capturing the American audience first, which I believe is very smart.
Also, to the mixers, not sure what you’re exactly doing on a Fifth Harmony article, but perhaps you should concentrate on little mix. They are very talented no doubt about that however you can’t expect them to be popular in the uk and just magically break America. Little mix are still considered “new artists” in America yet they have two albums. Mixers got very mad because fifth harmony are nominated for best group amongst one direction and 5sos, for a t*** choice award, which is an american award show. Therefore, little mix can be huge in other countries but the American market is very difficult to break. So go ahead bash on 5H all you want 🙂 don’t forget to preorder BO$$ on iTunes!!
It is not about bashing I just do not see how any fanbase like the harmonizers try to put down Little Mix’s sales figures or bringing up people who are promoting them on they own free will but have double standards. Harmonizers have no problems having Demi Lovato promoting 5H. Has I said many times on this page Little Mix’s album DNA sold 50,000 copies 1st wk & Salute sold 44,000 copies. These are the biggest sales figures in the USA for a girl group since 2009. When 5H sells more than 50,000 their fans then can talk. Albums sales have reduced over the decades & I do not think 5H have a bigger fanbase to sell over 50,000 copies in the USA. we will see
It’s funny because once again 5H have an EP, not an LP, huge difference. We will see when 5H put out their first album. And demi has mentioned how proud she is of 5H and tweeted a link to miss movin on once. Plus demi went on tour with both little mix and 5H so she’s promoted both. I’m just saying when billboard wrote an article about how one direction has helped little mix’s game immensely, mixers freaked out. There’s no point in arguing, this is a fifth harmony article so there’s literally no reason why mixers would be here anyway but here you are.

Some of you people are living in a different world. GIRL GROUPS are not the in thing anymore, none are doing massively well other than the Kpop & Jpop ones in Asia. But Little Mix are doing better than all of the western ones out there releasing new music over the last few years. Even massive girl groups from the 90’s released new albums over the last few years & the albums did not sell as much as Little Mix’s album in USA. TLC sold 6,000 copies, SWV sold less than 20,000 copies. Maybe 5H, G.R.L or Danity kane will be the girl group to change this trend but until then Little Mix is the biggest western girlgroup.
