Mucky mess doesn’t even cover the travesty that has been this three-year campaign; which is sad as it never “had” to be like this.
That said, given the minimal traction current single ‘Heavy Metal And Reflective’ is generating, a push-back was all but certain.
Given her talent and the allure of what she could be, here’s hoping the months ahead bring the clarity, backing, and banging material that will put Ms. Banks back on the right path.

Heh. Only artists who the record label doesn’t care about, and whose albums are expected to flop, release albums in January/February — after the Xmas season when no one is interested in actually buying and stores are dead. Yeah, good luck with that.
Maybe she shouldn’t have burned all those bridges she would have a hot album out now. It’s too bad she is somewhat talented but that stank attitude of hers overshadows all of that. Maybe it’s time for some self reflection when you are known more for your “twitter beefs” than actual music.

This makes sense, chances are with all the hype shes created independently with HMAR, she must have loads of majors, trying to snap her up, i think its healthy and smart for her to release a couple more singles over the course of the year, she’s a new artist, so no point in her releasing an album in the 4th quarter as thats when all the Major artist with major backing release there albums for the christmas rush as albums sell most in that period, in order for her album to get the attention it needs as a new artist releasing her first album January is a good choice!

I dont really see what the big deal is. If the album was meant to out 4 years ago or last year as long as the music is good people will buy. She’s probably changed over the past few years when the album was meant to be released so maybe she’s just decided to keep the name and ya’ll will get a whole new Azealia.
It won’t sell more than 5K first week. No one likes her anymore after all of her Twitter feuds. I don’t even think her first EP sold 30K.
