Over the last seven years, That Grape Juice has established itself as one of the net’s most renowned sources for Urban Pop music. Indeed, it’s become trademark for us to shine light on artists – both known and on the rise. This week sees us spotlight the latter, as we kick off the first ever Freshly Squeezed Week.
Starting today, we’ll be introducing a talented new name each day of this week.
The first up is vocal powerhouse…
Jade Novah
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Jade Novah cites Barbra Streisand, Beyonce, Aerosmith and Queen as inspirations. And while newly emerging as a banner artist, she first tasted a little of what the industry had to offer when she performed backing vocals on Missy Elliott’s ‘This Is Not a Test.’
Today, after penning songs for the likes of Mya, Christina Milian and scoring a glowing endorsement from ‘American Idol‘ frontman Ryan Seacrest, the R&B beauty sets her sights on solo superstardom. To best showcase her gift, she recently paid tribute to the aforementioned the late and ever great Whitney Houston.
