Since it touched down in support of the Brit’s LP ‘Sweet Talker’, the bop has sold 502,000 units as of August 20th, marking the second single by Minaj to reach the half a million milestone in the last month, following ‘The Pink Print‘-pulled ‘Pills n Potions.’

No shade but you have to use logic. Now congrats to Taylor and Minaj BOTH but Taylor’s single is number one because 500,000+ people bought it in a week and called up the radio stations and went crazy for them to keep playing it which will in turn make the radio stations keep playing it. Nicki, on the other hand, had a super controversial sexual video which made every once flock to vevo to see it and that’s %95 percent of why she is number 2(albeit still number 2 so congrats). Her radio play and purchasing (the other5%) better increase in the next 7 days because I doubt another 43 million views will come again this coming week so the other areas outside of “shock and aww” need to be exercised or else it will descend quickly. But congrats to them both especially Taylor who’s just seems to always SLAY the girls like they did back in the day with huge sales and heavy radio play!!!
