When he isn’t guiding the force that is Christina Aguilera‘s career, music manager Irving Azoff can be found building the machine he no doubt hopes will churn out success for his new client Gwen Stefani.

On Monday, the industry power player spoke in a panel at New York’s Advertising Week where he handed the world brand new details on the singer’s comeback album, even going as far as to say where she is recording it!

Everything he said, and more, below…

According to Irving, Gwen is currently in Miami with ‘Hollaback Girl‘ pal Pharrell Williams crafting cuts for the album whose lead single will be performed on ‘The Voice’, the televised singing contest on which they both serve as coaches.

Add to this talk that she’s also been collecting ideas from DJ Mustard, the arrival of a new Gwen album becomes all the more exciting, especially with Azoff revealing that she hopes to have finished recording it by December.

So what about talk of a new No Doubt album? Well, let ‘Billboard’ tell it and they’re all true, with Gwen spending the last few months working simultaneously on her solo LP and a new album with the band, whose third studio album ‘Tragic Kingdom‘ was certified 10x Platinum by the RIAA, helped a great deal by its standout single ‘Don’t Speak.

Poor Rihanna can’t catch a break with all these REAL pop stars (who have a history of pushing REAL numbers) returning!

120 million records sold. Doesn’t look like Rihanna has a problem pushing numbers on her own. You can sit now.

And in the meantime, a damn near defeated Roc Nation is still trying to search this fourth quarter with a fine tooth comb for a potential release date that ducks and dodges the release dates of forthcoming albums by numerous other acts who would literally hand Rihanna’s ass back to her if they dared attempted to have her go against them. By contrast, I don’t think the record labels of Taylor, Eminem, Adele, Fergie, Gwen, etc., etc. would think twice about releasing their new albums against hers.

Gwen is irrelevant to this generation. Didn’t No Doubt JUST flop a year or two ago?

I don´t see this being a big success. I don´t see the necessary energy an artist like her usually has on stage. No Doubt´s return wasn´t very good.

You must be a joke. No doubt’s performance was one of the best. I can’t wait for her music to return

People are so fake. MANY people – No Doubt fans included – seemed to HATE her solo music at the time. They complained constantly about how obnoxious and stupid “Hollaback Girl” was and how she had sold out and was “acting black.” Now you phonies are acting like it slayed and you miss her. Fakes.
