$4.5 milion.

The figure above was offered to Hip Hop titan Kanye West recently, blown in his direction by  ‘Planet Hollywood’ in exchange for his very own Las Vegas residency.

So, what happened when the deal above was offered to him?

Find out below…

Before the unveiling of his brand new album, West was offered $4.5 million to launch his own residency at ‘Hollywood’, following in the footsteps of Celine Dion, Britney Spears, and if recent reports are to be believed, Jennifer Lopez.

Alas, he turned it down.

That’s right, according to ‘Vanity Fair‘, West was unimpressed by the offer and rejected it, deciding not take to the $4.5 million offer.

The rapper is yet to confirm or deny the above.

If he tours he could make that in a week.

Say what you will about Kanye, but he has a catalog worth well over 4.5 mil. I hope that wasn’t for the same amount of time as Britney’s.

When i saw 4.5M, I knew that wasn’t enough. Doesn’t a residency mean you can’t go out and perform somewhere else until you’re done.

Smart move because his concerts have not been doing well.

    I love Kanye,but he’s become a joke!
Like Lauryn Hill,I often wonder why people attend a Kanye concert as well. Not only is he rude to his fans, but he also goes into these erratic rants about how “Great” he is. Sure his concerts makes more than what was offered to him, but not for long if he continues to act the way he does.

….and he has cancelled a lot of tours this year, so he would be considered a huge risk. Tourism in Las Vegas must really be down…. Seems as if they are desperate for any type of entertainment to draw in the crowd!!
