Aretha Franklin is back.
As reported, the Queen Of Soul is readying a new album – under the stewardship of Clive Davis – titled ‘Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics’.
Set for release on October 21st, the intriguing project sees the legend pay homage to a carefully curated list of classics and has thus far spawned a cover of Adele‘s ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
Today, though, brings with it another cut from the LP. This time it’s Franklin’s take on Gloria Gaynor‘s classic anthem ‘I Will Survive’, which she has fused with Destiny’s Child‘s mega-smash ‘Survivor’.
