Kicked off by R&B bad boy Chris Brown, the visual challenge sees participants upload videos of themselves dancing to the rapper’s 2003 smash ‘Right Thurr.’ Taking to Instagram, the St. Louis native’s merry Christmas quickly turned into a scary Christmas after fans began slamming him for “excessive praise” of the impact the song had during its early 2000s reign on charts.
Attaching words and phrases like “legendary,” “changed the world,” and “greatness” to ‘Thurr,’ read Chingy’s now-deleted social media speech from last night that led many to lend a collective side-eye:
