Ciara is back and racing up the iTunes charts with new single ‘I Bet’.
After amassing more than five million streams on VEVO since its debut two weeks ago, the truth-baring gem was released on iTunes yesterday and is well on its way to becoming a digital hit.
Details on the song’s performance and Super Ci’s new acoustic rendition of it below…
As at writing, the Harmony Samuels production (the lead single from the star’s sixth studio album, ‘Jackie’) sits at #38 on the main tally of the US store.
The feat is particularly noteworthy as few Urban singles reach such highs digitally these days. Yet, it’s especially significant as the promotional campaign for the track has yet to swing into action.
On the topic of the latter, the 28-year-old mother of one shared previews of an upcoming acoustic rendition of the track.

They are two different people but not nevessarily two different artists. They essentially are the same cutout (urban dance club pop, pretty skinny light skin girl that wears baggy clothes and dances, Aaliyah knock offs, the list goes on) that’s why they ARE comparable. Ciara, though not the best singer, is right now the more talented and seasoned artist. But if you compared 2004 Ciara to 2014’s Tinashe, they would be neck and neck. Actually Tinashe might have the one up cuz she is the better singer. But Ciara is the overall better performer.

Since when is charting at #38 known as “blazing iTunes.” The desperate reach…and to think earlier there was post describing Rihanna new single (which is currently #3 on the U.S. iTunes chart) as “under-performing.”
For a Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney track to have only reached #3 is underperforming and a lessor known Ciara track to reach #38 is actually good, considering Ciara’s singles rarely do well chart wise and she lacks a strong team like Rihanna and Kanye. #38 isn’t great, but it’s no where near bad especially considering how much competition Ciara has from the likes of Rihanna, Kanye, Nicki, Iggy, Ariana, Meghan, Sia and of course Taylor

Great song, hope she releases an accoustic and that is crosses over. The rihanna song missed the mark for me. It was just weird, not inventive.
