After watching the likes of Chris Brown, Jason Derulo and Jeremih take Urban Contemporary music to the Top 40 heavens, the R&B singer Mario has announced that he is to return to the world of music this week.
His comeback plans below…
The singer will relaunch his career with his own company ‘Rivers Entertainment’, which will fund his forthcoming US ‘Fireball Tour’, set takeoff on Grammy weekend.
He revealed:
I’ve always been a much broader artist than I’ve ever been portrayed. But, I honestly had little to no control over what the world heard or saw from me before now. I set out to change that not just for myself, but for other artists as well. I soon realized that I needed to heed my own advice. I needed to believe in myself. While my previous label had trouble seeing me as more than a niche artist, I knew I was called to a greater platform. The problem was that I wasn’t sure I could do much about it without their hand. I had to get out of that mind state. I had to do something about it.
And do something about it he did, now set to return to the scene with new material and a number of projects he hopes will see him entertain his existing fan base and those yet to see the best of what he has to offer.

If he can get it together I’m here for it. Vocally, he blows Breeezy, Trigga, Usher,Ne-Yo, Beiber, JT all out of the water. But he has to get his ish together on the other tip

yaaaassss! Mario is definitely the most talented vocalist of this bunch of new R&B hit makers. His last record major album was booboo tho. I hope he’s done trying to compete with Chrime Brown and Grey Thongz on the lyrics department and bring out the reeeeal s***.
Chris Brown & Trey Songz both are vocally talented & are just as talented as Mario & also August Alsina…:)
I don’t see how a tour is going to help a dead career.He does have a solid body of work and he sings better than like 99% of the male who are mainstream out today,it’s just he was signed to J Records and when J Records got absorbed into RCA,a lot of artist who had to make the switch got screwed. Seriously though,I’m all for appreciating an artist,but sometimes the artist needs to let go. Every album after his second album under performed. Doest mean they were bad, the public had just lost interest. You can’t come out now as a male artist and not be high yellow, as a black male. The very fact that idiots are comparing this talented vocalist to the likes of mediocre talent like Chris Brown,Trey Songs,and flat vocal August speaks volumes to why the Hot 100 looks like a bad joke year after year.
I remember Mario & Trey songz came out together around the same time…. Theyve both been up and down in their careers. But Trey seems to be UP more times than down.
Chris, August & Trey are talented in different ways. But Mario is in another category in terms of being a singer. Usher is another one.. He needs two hit singles..
