Ten years into its run, ‘So You Think You Can Dance‘ has called on the Pop force that is Paula Abdul to join its judging panel, enlisting the ‘Opposites Attract’ singer to do so alongside ‘Talk Dirty’ chart-slayer Jason Derulo!

Auditions for the show’s 12th season will begin on January 24th, and will see Derulo and Abdul join its judging panel, following the latter’s successful run on the singing competition ‘American Idol‘ and its ill-fated sister ‘X Factor USA.’
‘Deadline’ reports:
They will join co-creator/executive producer Nigel Lythgoe at the judges table. Also returning for Season 12 of SYTYCD — which will feature a new twist in the competition: stage dancers vs. street dancers — is host Cat Deeley.
On the new additions, Lythgoe shared:
With the new and exciting format comes a new and exciting panel of judges. Paula is an incredible artist, and she brings the perfect combination of expertise and heart to the panel. Jason’s insight, humour and creativity will add a new perspective to the panel that we haven’t had before.

Not above someone like Paula Abdul. Paula is a dancer, choreographer, and great TV personality
I’m not a fan of Jason’s choreography. He always over dances and does a human bike or something with ppl helping him do the mj lean or a human pyramid. Just dance with all the extra not choreography isn’t needed

abdul is doing what every hasbeen should do, acknowledging that her time has past and finding other ways to feed that ego all celebs have. Not sub-standard material and destroying their legacy
