Hollywood is learning to love Rita Ora, and truthfully, we can’t blame ’em.
As fans await their turn to see the Brit-beauty in FOX’s hit series ‘Empire’ and the highly anticipated ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film, the burgeoning diva took to the March issue of ‘Nylon’ mag to discuss the latter, new music, her painful Calvin Harris breakup, and so much more.
Also lending a word about gal pal and ‘Black Widow’ co-star Iggy Azalea, tuck in to see excepts from Ora’s foray into the style magazine and get an update on her bud’s ongoing war with pizza giants Papa John’s:
Hot Shots: Rita Ora Stuns in ‘Nylon’ Magazine
Excerpts from Nylon (source):
Rita Ora on Breakup with producer Calvin Harris:
“I had a breakup, or whatever, and it really made me realize what I was trying to do. I had been fixated on this love fantasy, but really it wasn’t like that, and I had to take myself back. For me, this was my moment where I had to be real and tell the truth and be honest,” the singer recalls. “I love my pop songs, and I’m still gonna be pop, but this has just got a lot more depth to it.”
Rita Ora on New Music:
“It was a process to be like, ‘F–k it! I’m just gonna be me.’ With the first album, I was so hyped up to be signed with Jay Z. I was like, ‘Whatever! Jay f–kin’ Z!’ Two, three years later, I was like, ‘You know what? People are actually interested in what I’m saying and how I’m dressing and how I’m acting.'”
“It’s like, ‘Yeah, I grew up and I looked at my arse, and it got a bit bigger and I’m sexier now.’ Might as well flaunt it!” the “How We Do” singer explains. “I feel more womanly. I wanted the album to be dark and sexy, but still approachable, because I’m not a dark person.”
Rita Ora on industry friendships:
“I’ve always been really outspoken it, like telling another woman, ‘You killed it.’ I don’t think a lot of females do that these days, especially in this industry.” She adds, “It’s the same with all of my friends—with [Charli XCX], with [Iggy Azalea], with [Cara Delevingne] and Katy Perry, who’s an amazing person inside and out and so talented, the biggest star in the world. She’s always been the same, and she’s just so funny and fun and loud and really cool. I’m like, ‘Yeah! That’s what I wanna be like! I wanna stay that way!’ You’ve gotta really be sacred with these friendships, ’cause people can corrupt them.”
Speaking of Iggy Azalea, recent tweets reveal the Aussie hitmaker is still at war with Papa John’s after a member of the company’s staff delivered her phone number to his family and friends. As reported here, Azalea took to Twitter on Grammy night to blast the pizza chain for their confidentiality breach, even going as far as lawsuit threats. Peep below for the latest:
Keep it locked to That Grape Juice for more as this story develops.
these two bitchhes are jokes…
Feuding with a Pizza company??? HA!
Irrelevant h**…..
Oh my god
Not going to lie, FLOPora slayed and snatched that cover, yes. Very nice.
‘
And Iggy, let your Grammy frustrations go, this looks ridiculous and is doing nothing for your cred, or T.Is for that matter.
I agree with Iggy about if that information falls into the wrongs hands it can be damaging, but baby please shut up and just settle it in court.
I can’t understand why people don’t like Rita, she’s gorgeous and talented. Maybe it’s the constant Rihanna comparisons.

As for the other Pop tart that talk/rap… she stays airing out her grievances on Twitter. On top of that, she has the nerve to call someone unprofessional. that woe is me ,doe eyed plea for attention has run its course.
I’m not really sure who this is but on another note why is Iggy always complaining on Twitter? And not her arguing for a box of pizza now…… SMHB!

HASHTAG: #WhosYaPublicist
In reference to Queen Lil Mo! Lol.
Lmao
Umm, Are we sure thats Rita Ora or Beyonce?? Cuz…….
Didnt T.I tell Iggy to stay off of Twitter?!
The way Rita said Katy Perry is the biggest star in the world . You damn well know it’s not true !
She kissing a*s like usual to try and be “friends” with somebody for another five minutes of exposure…
It’s working better than Azelia Bank’s strategy of feuding with everyone.
A couple things here:
1) who’s the flop on this cover?
2) why do we care what this flop has to say?
3) Iggy, why don’t u have a card attached to an account with very limited funds and can be despised of if necessary. Michael Jackson use to have his prescription under a different name. Be smarter if u want to be protected. And always have a thow away phone for calls like this! Lol
Or just change your number, Simple as that.
Those Azalea girls are always on twitter, lol. #Trash
Rita Ora is slaying that cover!
As for Iggy, I honestly tried to understand/like her like all #teamKim do but I can’t! her mates are having real beef with stars and trading barz and she is arguing with a pizza delivery company? really? omg mess!!
irony when Iggy complain about poor delivery!!!
Rita actually looks like herself on that cover she slayed…..if she keeps styling herself like this as oppose to all the clown make up she wears people would look at her differently….I still she cares more about just being a celebrity than an actual music artist tho…well glad she gets to live her dreams and make coins #nohatenoshade
LOL screaming @ Papa John’s shading Iggy on twitter. Can fast-food restaurant control their twitters please… LOL Taco Bell is another wild one with a mind of its own
Anyways back on point… Rita is a beauty but she is nothing more than a repackaged item that Roc Nation is trying to sell as new. It feels like day-old leftovers that been microwaved for the next day, it may taste okay but it does not taste good. And she’s giving me ‘No Doubt – Underneath It All’ music video vibes
Okay rita, your opinions are much longer than your part in 50 shades of grey.
Write an article on Rita having only four lines!
Screaming!
Iggy is such a big baby lolz
FLOPPPS!
I’m in tears at her saying she is bigger!!!! Bigger what? Flop? kiii!!!! She a step above Ciara but that’s still low!!!?
TGJ know they love Rita, it’s just bad that the rest of the world doesn’t.
