According to TMZ, the 44-year-old was arrested by officers with the California Highway Patrol at around 9:30 PM local time in Ventura County, California.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that the ‘Toxic’ singer was handcuffed during the arrest. However, Ventura County Sheriff’s inmate records show she was later released.
Details surrounding the circumstances that led to the stop have not yet been made public.
