Infamous Death Row kingpin Suge Knight has dodged many bullets in his life. However, in the wake of a shocking hit and run attack last week, the renown Hip-Hop figure hasn’t succeeded in avoiding the wrath of the legal system.
For, he has just been hit with multiple charges.
Moments ago, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Knight has been charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of a hit-and-run. Offences alleged to have all been committed while he’s been out on bail for a robbery case in Beverly Hills which occurred back in October.
Set to be arraigned tomorrow at L.A Superior Court, Knight (who is being held without opportunity for bail) is in a truly precarious position. Because, in light of prior convictions, this case could end up serving as his third strike. And, if found guilty, he could face up to life in state prison.
Miss Info elaborated on the incident, sharing:
Following an altercation in the parking lot of a Compton restaurant, Knight allegedly got in his truck, running over two men. One man was injured, while the other, identified as 55-year-old Terry Carter, died on scene. Knight soon fled the scene, surrendering himself early Friday morning. The $2 million dollar bail requested at the time was revoked, as Knight was considered a flight risk, plus possible witness intimidation.
