Just days remain until Mariah Carey unwraps her comeback single ‘Infinity.’
The fiercely anticipated number, which is the sole new cut on the diva’s latest greatest hits compilation ‘#1 To Infinity,’ is set for landing this coming Monday (April 27th).
Keeping the momentum going ahead of the big day, the singer whets appetites with the unveiling of the track’s official artwork.
Though we seem to be among the few who like the artwork for the song’s housing album, surely we’re not alone in thinking this looks good enough to have been the LP cover instead?

That picture above, is a joke. Also, her marriage to Nick Cannon has not helped her career none. I feel a little bad saying it, but being with Nick hurts her image. Mariah has run out of room to romp. Her videos have shown as much skin as she can show without being naked, her voice isn’t what it used to be and her song material isn’t anything memorable or unique. It’s usually at about this stage of the game that someone like Mariah finally decides to do a Playboy spread as a last ditch attempt to breathe new life and energy into a dying career, but the days when anyone might have actually wanted to see her in Playboy have fallen behind her. She either needs to reinvent herself and drop that “DIVA” persona or just get off the stage completely. When she was brand new on the scene and belting out songs with substance, she was unstoppable. Later she managed to get by on her looks even though the songs had taken a giant nosedive in quality. Now she’s trying to get by on her name alone and that just isn’t cutting it.

Then reading and looking at the album cover as I listened to the music. Those were the days.
She lost it a long, long, long time ago when she began to refer to herself as a diva. She looked pretty with her natural dark hair, had a voice, but it is all about her now and has been for a long time. I personally can’t stand her due to her “all about me” diva attitude.
