As reported here, Jennifer Lopez‘s sold out New Year’s Eve show in Vegas had promoters scrambling to draw up a deal to keep the triple threat diva on the Strip for an extended period of time.
As her other “residency” – ‘American Idol’ judges’ panel- comes to a close, it appears the songstress is ready to open the curtains on another venture. Taking to Twitter tonight, she revealed:
Taking over the AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino starting Jan. 20, 2016, Lopez will lend a high octane set of her decade worth of hits and a few surprises.

Correction, Mariah made rappers on pop songs popular. And like I said, Jenny is either a step behind or in front. She did idol first and then got her seat back right after Mariah was fired. I can’t blame her. Vegas is a steady multimillion dollar check. It’s a 40 million dollar check for Mimi. I know JLO’s team made sure to get her at least 30-37 million for this deal. I wish her much success, as well as Céline (who I plan to see) when she returns back I’m August.

Yay JLo is a beast live so lucky U saw her in concert twice and met her. Her show will e spectacular she has a catalog of hits and classic album cuts thay need to bought to live on stage cause they were not released as singles and no videos were made. I hav e to make plans to see her and my boo Mariah Carey I know I am sure to be entertained and will be singing along word for word. Smart movie for both JLo and Mariah it’s a stable way to make $$$$ while spending time with their twins.

We all know JLo will put on a much better show than Mariah. JLo can actually work a stage. Mariah just stands there stiff, rhythmless and looking goofy. Her idea of performing are those awkward hand spasms.
