Ginuwine Reunites With Timbaland For New Project
R&B veteran Ginuwine has answered the prayers of fans with the recent announcement he’ll be re-teaming with superproducer Timbaland for his 8th official studio release.
Previously titled ‘Same Ol G,’ the project has now been christened ‘Bachelor Again But Wiser’ and will come as their first joint effort since 2009’s ‘Get Involved’ (‘A Man’s Thoughts’).
No official release date has been unveiled as of time reporting.
Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Jussie Smollett, Chrisette Michele, Sevyn Streeter, and More Readied For New Season of ‘Verses & Flow’
The 5th season of TV One’s hit variety show “Lexus Verses and Flow” is on track to continue featuring some of the best and brightest of yesterday and today’s R&B with an electrifying eight-episode season.
Showcasing stars like Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Charlie Wilson, Raekwon The Chef, Jussie Smollett, Sevyn Streeter, Avery Sunshine, Leela James, Estelle, Chrisette Michele, and more, the series will also continue shining a spotlight on a number of the best up-and-coming poets.
“TV One is excited to partner with Lexus for season five of the innovative series that captures the spirit of performance art with a purpose,” said Brad Siegel, President, TV One. “Verses and Flow is a project that not only captivates and entertains, but support the efforts of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to motivate and reward deserving college-bound students.”
Hosted by actor Laz Alonso, the series will premiere July 30 and air on Thursday nights.
Floetry Reunite For Tour
All they had to do was ‘Say Yes’ (to a reunion) and fans are clearly overjoyed that they did.
After a well received reunion late 2014, Floetry members Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie ‘The Floacist’ Stewart have confirmed a forthcoming tour. Kicking off June 17 at the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park in Ohio, the tour is set to touch every corner of the U.S. with pit stops in Detroit, New Orleans (for the Essence Festival), San Francisco, New York, and more.
