Ginuwine Reunites With Timbaland For New Project

R&B veteran Ginuwine has answered the prayers of fans with the recent announcement he’ll be re-teaming with superproducer Timbaland for his 8th official studio release.

Previously titled ‘Same Ol G,’ the project has now been christened ‘Bachelor Again But Wiser’ and will come as their first joint effort since 2009’s ‘Get Involved’ (‘A Man’s Thoughts’).

No official release date has been unveiled as of time reporting.

Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Jussie Smollett, Chrisette Michele, Sevyn Streeter, and More Readied For New Season of ‘Verses & Flow’

The 5th season of TV One’s hit variety show “Lexus Verses and Flow” is on track to continue featuring some of the best and brightest of yesterday and today’s R&B with an electrifying eight-episode season.

Showcasing stars like Jazmine Sullivan, Melanie Fiona, Charlie Wilson, Raekwon The Chef, Jussie Smollett, Sevyn Streeter, Avery Sunshine, Leela James, Estelle, Chrisette Michele, and more, the series will also continue shining a spotlight on a number of the best up-and-coming poets.

“TV One is excited to partner with Lexus for season five of the innovative series that captures the spirit of performance art with a purpose,” said Brad Siegel, President, TV One. “Verses and Flow is a project that not only captivates and entertains, but support the efforts of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to motivate and reward deserving college-bound students.”

Hosted by actor Laz Alonso, the series will premiere July 30 and air on Thursday nights.

I hope so. I would love to see R&B be what EDM was in 2012. Even if it didn’t last long like EDM, it would refreshing to see R&B releases see gold and platinum will little to no effort. Great article.

Yes! Like the mention above, I hope to see R&B make a come back. I got Jamie Foxx’s album a couple days ago, and may I say…… …….
    …… …..
I’m not pleased at all. His last 3 albums before this one was his greatest. Smh. Too much cussing. Not enough to the imagination like his others….. ….
My point is I don’t want our greats to have to resort to watering down their music to get some attention. Smh. Sad.

Side Effects of You was a 10 out of 10 in my book. I could listen to that album from beginning to end. Completely underrated in my opinion. Without Me should have been a smash!
