As reported here,  the 2015 Primetime Emmy nominations were unveiled today to honor the year’s most spectacular moments and people on television.

While the historic nominations of Taraji P. Henson (‘Empire’) and Viola Davis (‘How To Get Away With Murder’) could lend the first time in history an African American woman walks away with the ‘Best Actress’ primetime Emmy, other coveted categories are looking just as good for some of entertainment’s leading ladies.

Telephone’ duo Lady Gaga and Beyonce are considered frontrunners in their respective categories while fellow pop diva Katy Perry‘s ‘Super Bowl’ outing  – like Bey and Bruno Mars before her, nabbed a mention in this year’s ‘Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program’ category.

  1. Gaga > Madonna, Mariah, Katy July 16, 2015

    That’s cool, hopefully she’ll win.

  2. Jake July 16, 2015

The tonys , globes , oscars and Beyoncé and Jay Z? They don’t even need Oscar , grammies , globes no more . They are the f****** program themselves . Boss s***

  3. Jake July 16, 2015

And I love love love Cookie, Taraji and the whole show and also Viola but come tell me Kerry Washington doesn’t deserve that award first ! She’s been robbed of that just like Leonardo DiCaprio of some Oscars . BS

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

Leo has never been robbed. He just happens to get nominated during heavily competitive years. The only year that’s a bit suspect is 2005 when he lost for his role in Aviator despite winning the Golden Globe.

  4. Rosie July 16, 2015

What is this stan bait? They’re not even competing against each other.
That being said, Katy’s halftime show had spectacular production, so I think she might win. C2C will likely lose to SNL. Hard to tell whether OTR will win Special Class Program.

I never had a problem with him, he been talking ish. Why, because I dissed Beyonce? You clearly have an issue with my opinion because you don’t come for the Rihanna haters, the same haters you side with. Maybe because you’re just a pest in Rih and aaliyah gear. I can tell that you’re Career Ender, so back off and troll else where.

    Who are all these people?

  7. Stephy. July 16, 2015

Katy’s production team should win. Her visuals were so pretty. That’s the only reason I watch her Halftime show on Youtube.

Bey & Jay’s concert was FIRE. I wish I could’ve went tbh. My cousin (and her lil boyfriend) was bragging about how good the show was. Sad, I couldn’t attend.

    • Brandy Stan July 16, 2015

      Stfu with all that fagatry.

  10. Slayty Perry (Emmy nominated VEVO Queen) July 16, 2015

Katy is about to win her first Emmy for her iconic Superbowl show. She deserves it too, she pulled out all the big guns. When Katy wins her Emmy the tired and stale Grammyless drag will become obsolete. Then what will you all cling to? Katy is slaying even off season. First female to reach a billion views with a music video, first artist ever to have two videos reach 1 billion and soon to be Emmy winner. That Katy Perry reign just won’t let up!

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

She’ll be dragged for her non-existent vocals as always.

    • JOHNVIDAL July 17, 2015

Hun Katy Perry was not responsible for the spectacle. The production team was. She is so mediocre it is painful to watch. So if that show wins its category it won´t be thanks to her.

  11. Molly July 16, 2015

Hey @Rosie how are you boo?

    • Rosie July 16, 2015

      Hi bb ????

      • Molly July 16, 2015

Honeymoon is growing on me queen. I respect your fav for her artistry boo.

  12. Xtina = The voice of this generation July 17, 2015

I hope Beyoncé wins OTR was pure FIRE.

  13. Slay_Hive July 17, 2015

Katy should give her award to Missy Elliott if she wins.

  14. Slay_Hive July 17, 2015

I would love to see my Queen and her husband buy this Emmy so these lessors in the comments section will seethe. #TeamCarter

  15. fatusankoh July 17, 2015

I hope bey and jay win their show was the best

  16. La Musica July 17, 2015

Bey will win. That’s no question. The only question is how bad her slayage will be.
