Those familiar with the original choreography designed to support the song will be pleased to learn that Jackson has freshened things up with new moves and brought on a dynamic pair of dancers who weren’t even born when the number first rocked the charts!

Yes! “Come on, baby. Let’s get away. We’ll save our troubles for another day.” Slay me, queen! I love it when she adds her iconic medleys to her setlists. The best medley and stage design combination was hands down the All for You Tour. She had the stage looking like the Little Mermaid came to life all while serving live vocals amidst running around and dancing. I lived for that tour back then and I live for it more even now. Such a legendary tour!

Oh, and I can’t forget about the medley from the Velvet Rope Tour! Iconic! The stage looked like a children’s story book in real life……and she sang that ENTIRE medley LIVE to death and didnt miss a beat vocally! That was a long ass medley too! Tool up one full act of the tour to do. Who else can slay inflatables on a tour like she can?

Yes, she may have lip-synced a few times in her career because of the heavy dancing, but let’s not throw it under the rug that MJ was the king of lip-syncing. We all know that they both did it because of the dancing, but at least Janet sang live more often than her brother. As long as they gave their fans a good show, then thats all that matters.

And? They both sang live on every tour! She sang live more than him per each show of every tour, especially during her acoustic sections with slow songs. MJ would lip-sync the slow songs too.
I love Mj, but he liped in Dangerous and Bad tour. I even seen shows of Thriller being lipped. It’s not a big deal, you’re not going to sing and fully dance at the same time. At least not sound great doing it.

The only song he would usually sing live was “Heal the World”, which was generally near the end of his setlists. Besides that, heavy choreo and lip-syncing. And if she cant sing, then he cant either. They have the same exact voice….soft and childlike in nature.
Same trolls, different day. This was live. She couldn’t hear the music so she stopped singing. I saw this performance in another city and she sang it all the way through along with other songs. Like someone said this was a LONG medley. And about the arena, she only wanted to use half. They were sold out or close to it. She sold 10k plus seats in other cities with no problem.
Yeah, it looked like she was fixing her mic pack because of a sound issue. Do you know why she didnt want to use the full arena? It seems weird to me.
And about her clothing. She actually has been wearing harem pants since her relationship with JD. She wore them while promoting the first WDIGM film on 106 & Park. Btw, her top is tight, married Muslim don’t wear that.

I’m afraid the “All for You” tour was Janet’s last amazing show with fun set pieces and multiple costume changes. None of the “Unbreakable” tour photos and videos so far show a single costume change. Are budget constraints really that tight that Janet must continuously fall behind artists like Pink, Madonna and Chris Brown who come back again and again with something more incredible than the last time? Chris Brown’s current tour uses the most thrilling and most creative video boards I’ve ever seen in a live show. Pink’s “Truth About Love” tour reminded me of what Janet used to do once upon a time. By now, I would think Janet would be giving us the type of show that Michael wasn’t able to complete. Are my expectations too high? I always thought you can’t go any bigger or better than Janet Jackson.
During the All for You Tour, after Janet finished performong the little portion of “Miss You Much” and she asked her dancers “Hey, you guys! Is that the end?” and they said “no!” I lost my marbles. And when I heard the horns come in for “When I Think of You” I went crazy! Her tours were the epitome of creativity. Back then, only her and Madonna had the best tours.
Yea they are. Yes those show were icoic and yes I miss those days. But you have to factor in age and coast. This is her first tour in years, maybe first successfully finished tour since All For You. (Because the Rock With U tour was a mess and miss)

She had better tours when she had Anthony Thomas & Chuckii Booker (Rhythmn Nation 1814 Era), Tina Landon (Janet & The Velvet Rope Tour), Shawnette Heard (All For You Tour) those where her creative directors and Choreographers for those last great tours that she had yeah that was long ago since then Gil took over and gave her sucky tour after sucky tour after….. why even bother he will never be on the high status level of Tina Landon because when Janet worked with her. Her tours where on the next level from Janet to the Velvet Rope and for Janet the Velvet Rope will always be her most memorable standout tour till this day she really needs to cut ties with him after this tour because if she continues others like Madonna, Beyonce, and Rihanna will continue to outshine her tour visuals wise She can’t concur if Gil keeps giving her these horrible creation for her tour yes you may see it sales wise, yes her dancing is on point as always but the visuals matter and as much as I love Janet the tour looks like the Discipline 2.0 without the s** appeal Gil’s gotta Go and she needs to call up Tina Landon to rescue her because Gil just ain’t cutting it.

@shady what are you talking about? Gil didn’t choreograph this Luther Brown, Janet, and Parrish Goebel did. He is the creative director and from what I saw it’s actually good. I don’t go to concerts for special effects anyway. A great artist/performer doesn’t need them.
I stand by what I said Gil still sucks even as creative director and it’s not about being flashy she still had her best tours with Rhythmn Nation, Janet, and Velvet Rope tours and a honorable mention the All for You tour but I still stand by what I said.
