I love both Demi and Selena’s new albums, but kii at Demi having a higher met a critic score, although Selena will easily sell more. They both are on the same level in terms of touring too, but I think Selena will sell out more arenas this time around so Ci her singles are finally showing staying power in the top 10 and not top 25 like usual.

With this new era I expect great things to happen in the sense that Adele will do her and her fans and the media alike will eat it up. Sales have been down drastically since 2011-2012 thanks to Spotify, so IDK why some are acting like ~10-15 million will be this massive bomb. Acting like this album won’t carry XL’s entire budget for the next 2-3 years. They’re an actual indie label, although a a popular one that’s probably more successful than some majors like Epic right now (their next biggest artist is probably Vampire Weekend).

Actually the last known sales number for 21 in Australia was 1.050 million or 15 x platinum as platinum there is 70,000 since 1997 1.52 million in Canada is about right 80 k is platinum there since 5/1/2008 so it should be 19 x platinum but for some reason Columbia records Canada hasn’t applied for the updated certification
