While many a Pop starlet have run away from any release date in the radius of Adele’s, Ariana Grande has run at it head-on with new single ‘Focus.’
Unleashed last week, the funky cut is the lead effort from the songbird’s third studio album ‘Moonlight.’
And though her tenacity to drop new music at this time is commendable, it’s clear the pint-sized powerhouse knows she’ll have to work in earnest to make waves with the track.
Wasting no time, she took front-stage center on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater over the weekend to perform the song for the first time.

For an Ariana performance, that was great.
There’ll always be something distinctly cheerleader about her live and so, viewed with that lens, she shook her proverbial pom-poms better than we’ve seen from her in a while.
She served confidence, sass, and vocals (so much so that we’ll pretend we could understand some of those mumbly runs).
On a random note, that chorus will still take some getting used to (see: when bad choruses happen to great songs), but all in all…a solid showing!

Now that I have listened to “Focus” again, I now see why the music industry is in shams. People just buy any singles/albums that are completely generic but not even tasteful.

Love the performance shes become a much better dancer and vocalist. She slays the likes of Katy, Rihanna,Miley and Selena.
