Tinashe did a great job like I expected her to. I could’ve done without the touching, rubbing and caressing with you know who, but if it’s gonna get the song to chart, then om all for her getting the job done. I REALLY hope this song charts because I seriously don’t want her to get dropped from her label..especially after she tributed the Queen at the BET Awards, in which she and MJ accepted. I use Tinashe and now that Natalie LA Rose is gone, I need her to win again.

Let’s not even get into how innovative and iconic the “Red/Self-titled” album era’s videos were. I mean slay to slay from hair, makeup, clothing, choreography, everything! No one and I mean NO ONE can replicate the success of Aaliyah’s music videos from her last official era.
It was going great but then somewhere in the middle it just switched onto a generic pop sound?? And I don’t really care for Chris Brown at all.

I loved the video and the song as well. My only complaint is that the mortal combat type of play in the video just disappeared after the second male dancer…so did she win or nah??
I love Tinashe and the performance elements of this were well done. I just wished the big finale would’ve been a routine with Chris (or at least something that involved him actually moving) although the digital gameboard separating them was a neat special effect. I realize it’s supposed to be a showcase of HER moves, but I think they could’ve played it in a way to still keep the spotlight on her while using him as more than just a prop.
UGH!! Every time I try to like this girl she screws it up. this song is so fuckkingg wack, words can not explain. She needs help. She has the potential but her music is beyond bland and her dancing is stiffly unappealing to me. We really need some new fresh black talent.

This is a good pop/rhythmic song for the radio. Chris is just blackballed in the industry, so no matter what he puts out, it will not get the recognition it deserves. Can you believe he only have 1 grammy? The industry is terrible and the mediocre artists continue to win.

This would have been better if the venues and wardrobe changes for each opponent. Also she was trying so hard to look like a techniqued dancer that it came off bland and uninspiring. Chris browns novelty has worn off. Slapping him onto every up and coming artist song is getting tired. I like this song but it’s definitely forgettable. Very pretty girl with the right equipment, she just needs a better team and catalogue.

You’re right about the whole slapping CB on a track just for convenience. When people talk about the Chris Brown stimulus package being a real thing, I wonder why singles with him as a guest feature don’t really go anywhere on the BB Hot 100. Perhaps they’re referring to the Urban Charts? Good luck to both artists with their upcoming releases.
