With the New Year all but upon us, Adele is gearing up to bless the charts with a brand new single from her epic selling ’25’ album.
The LP’s lead release ‘Hello’ has taken residency atop of the charts worldwide since its release on October 23rd. Case in point the US where it spends its sixth week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Aiming to ensure the project’s success beyond its launch window, the 27-year-old Brit will reportedly service a follow-up to ‘Hello’ imminently.
So, which song has been ordained with the honor? Find out below…
Billboard has gone on record to confirm soaring ballad ‘When We Were Young’ as the official second single from ’25.’
‘Young’ debuted at #22 on the Hot 100 two weeks ago, racing out of the gate with 3.7 million Stateside streams and 101,000 downloads sold that week.
Now, with airplay promo in the mix, the rousing tale of reminisce is almost guaranteed ascend to new heights on the Hot 100 – and, of course, charts globally.

With an album as huge as ’25,’ single selection will always polarize. But we feel this to be a strong choice. And one that lyrically embodies the universal nature of ‘Hello.’
Saying that, we would have preferred ‘Remedy’ or ‘Water Under The Bridge.’ Or dare we say ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’ so as to switch things up sonically (not necessarily because it’s best track). However, it’s entirely plausible that each will receive the single treatment and chart-topping success too.
For now, though, get all the way in to ‘When We Were Young Below’
