Rita Ora Sues Jay-Z

Brit-Pop royal Rita Ora is sharpening her legal weapons to take on Jay-Z.

Why?

Roc-related drama below…

Ora was picked up by the mogul’s Roc Nation music company in 2009 after its power players learned of the moves she was making as an independent artist in London.

Alas, her time with them is to come to a bitter end now that she has filed a lawsuit against them with hopes that it will force them to release her from their contractual grasp.

Why she’s desperate to leave?

A portion of the complaint she filed against them reads:

When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist,As Roc Nation’s interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives. Rita’s remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company.

The Hollywood Reporter adds:

With unmistakable references to Jay-Z’s new pursuits (the streaming service Tidal is mentioned), the lawsuit paints Roc Nation as a “diminished” record label with “only a handful of admittedly worthy heritage superstar artists.”

Ora (now living in California) says she’s on her own, “self-funding her promotional television appearances, recording costs and video projects,” but she has a problem. In 2013, Roc Nation switched its distribution partner from Sony to Universal, but according to the lawsuit, she’s been left behind at Sony, which she paints as “hamstrung” by Roc Nation’s alleged inattention.

“Between Sony’s limited economic return from its orphaned relationship with Roc Nation and Sony’s indirect relationship with Rita, Rita is caught in a political quagmire of dysfunction,” states the complaint.

Ora is now seizing on California Labor Code §2855 (the “Seven Year Rule”), which was put to the test in 1944 when the actress Olivia De Haviland became upset with Warner Bros. The studio kept extending De Haviland’s contract despite suspending her for rejecting suggested roles. In 1944, the California Court of Appeal ruled that De Havilland could not be subject to a contract to perform personal services beyond seven years from the beginning of the deal. The ruling fundamentally changed Hollywood and helped bring down the old studio system.

But the “seven year rule” has continued to be controversial in the recording industry where artists often wait years before making a new album.

There’s more.

Rita, once mentored by Jay-Z’s superstar wife Beyonce, also cites Nation’s distribution deal with the Universal Music Group (rival to her label Sony Music Entertainment) as one of the reasons she has been “orphaned” by the company.

Why this distribution deal spells trouble for the ‘Poison’ singer? The deal saw her “left behind” at Sony and given no choice but to work with a label who (f0r obvious reasons) had little or no interest in supporting an artist signed to a rival label.

She is yet to respond to the unearthing of her shocking lawsuit but did support the following statement found in the complaint.

Rita’s relationship with Roc Nation is irrevocably damaged. Fortunately for Rita, the California legislature had the foresight to protect its artists from the sorts of vicissitudes she’s experienced with Roc Nation.

in a way i feel sorry for her but then again, you can tell she didn’t care THAT much about her music career. david was right for once, it doesn’t work in your favor when you wait YEARS and then decide to file smh

    • You tried December 17, 2015

Mostly every one in the comments are delusional to the whole situation besides @ISpeakTruthNoFallacy ! Hit it on the nose! U can not BLAME ROC NATION FOR HER TERRIBLE SUCCESS IN THE US MARKET! She was everywhere JAY even took her to every radio station in New York Personally to play her first record! She’s been on every Award show performing .. Front row Concerts songs with IGGY and she
Expects ROC NATION to be the blame of people simply being uninterested! Plain and simple SHES NOT IT! She doesn’t have it! She needs to carry on! TIDAL DID NOT PUT A GUN TO ANY OF THE ARTIST THAT SIGNED ON AND MADE THEM BE APART! So people can stop BRING TIDAL IN THE EQUATION! The Navi as well try and blame ROC AND TIDAL! EVEN YOU ARE SAYING YOURSELF THAT RIHANNA NEEDS DEF JAM TO KEEP HER CAREER AFLOAT! Why would you Stan for a “Huge” star that you feel has FALLEN because SHE started her OWN label under ROC NATION???? They didn’t PUT a gun to
Her head and make her SIGN UP! Get over it Rih will come through but it’s not a walk in the park but Rita is DONE I don’t care if she had the PRESIDENT working in the studio with her SHE IS DONE ! You will see !

  2. rosy December 17, 2015

I believe her look at rih album in shambles if rih stayed with Def Jam we would have an album this stupid failure of tidal no one subscribed to I’m done waiting on rih album I’m using my money,to get,Adele album

    • OMG Logic!!! December 17, 2015

Best decision you could have made.

    • Dev December 18, 2015

Wow! You only have a budget for one album a year?
How do you decide which one to buy?

  3. rosy December 17, 2015

Jay is just using rih to save tidal drake and taylor even kanye, west not, messing with tidal it sunk Coldplay and Madonna albums,

  4. The A team December 17, 2015

David shes never been brit pop royalty, lemme stop you there

    • Rory December 17, 2015

She has multiple number one singles over there though

      • Dev December 18, 2015

That doesn’t make you royalty, it just means that there are plenty of people in the U.k with bad musical taste and also a lack of (musical) diversity in the industry here as only certain genres get pushed and played

  5. Diandra December 17, 2015

Rita isn’t worried because she knows David is already hooking her up with another deal since he had so much to do with trying to make her last one work. #TheseWestLondonStreetsBeTalking #PayforPromo #MatesRates #FriendsMakeForTheBestPlugs

  6. iSpeakTruthNoFallacy December 17, 2015

OH SH*T! This is about to get NASTY! I believe that this was a preemptive strike as she was likely to be dropped by the label soon. Rita has worked extremely hard to position herself as a recognized name in music; however, the only time her voice was ever heard on American radio was for the chorus of an Iggy Azelea song which in itself speaks volumes. As much as she wants to blame Roc Nation and Sony, she just didn’t blow up in today’s market which isn’t anyone else’s fault. Simply, she’s wack. If anyone has ever seen the documentary Artifact, you will know that it NEVER fares well for artist who sue record companies. Need any current proof of my statement? Where’s Ke$ha? I wish Rita the best of luck, and I’m interested to see how this affects the other artists on the Roc Nation label and the company as a whole.

    • eric December 17, 2015

She’ll be fine. Things can’t get any worse than JoJo and Blackground.

      • Dev December 18, 2015

True, but JoJo can really sing and had decent songs. JoJo’s career didn’t start, begin and finish with boyfriend drama and outfits to keep an interest. If Rita had stuck to the music and had some classic songs (and vocals) behind her she would be in a better position

  7. Anonimous December 17, 2015

I would drag her but she isn’t going to flop simply because she has influential people like David and Jeremy Scott in her corner and because sh’s still signed to Sony in Britain who don’t have any problem with her.

It’s the best thing for her iyam. Now she can become a full-time model.

  8. Lmfao_Hoe December 17, 2015

Lord Jesus so much tea is about to be spilled. I wouldn’t be surprised if she come after not only Jay but Bey and Riri too. Smh the stans about to have a field today. Sam and David here comes ya site traffic.

    • You tried December 17, 2015

      @Lmao_Hoe
H** sit down! You really tried!!!! She will never come her mother and she doesn’t stand a chance with Rih neither! Keep the Queen out yo dusty a** mouth

  10. MsYonce December 17, 2015

This happens at every record label they usually pushh the big stars the most not saying it’s right but yeah. Rita just ain’t popping in the US don’t matter how many songs she release she just ain’t getting that breakout song. Idk but people in the US just ain’t feeling her

  11. Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans December 17, 2015

Alright! Let’s not act surprised, everyone. We ALL knew her career was gonna be over before it began…and her doing this is definitely s****** for her career. You had a nice UK run, Rita. I LOVE “Poison”, but everyone keep giving you chances and you just can’t provide. You’ll remain a distant memory.

  12. al December 17, 2015

    Hahahahahahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha
Made my day #byefelicia in other words shes been dropped couldnt even sell out a take out place

  13. blue December 17, 2015

dump them before the dump you

  14. blue December 17, 2015

the carters are gonna eat her alive! I dont see her getting any plays on us radio ever again

  15. Because December 17, 2015

This is the funniest thing I’ve read all week. She is basically admitting her career is failing! Any attempt at her cracking the US market are long gone, she had her chance and she has yet to even have a successful tour in the UK. To leave Roc Nation now would not do her any favours.
No doubt she is under the guidance of Cowell who will then run her into the ground as he did with trying to lengthen Scherzinger’s career.

She’s not huge in the UK. She has had moderate success off two dance tracks in 2011/2012 and then the subsequent song with Calvin Harris.

Her latest album has been delayed at least a year and the first single massively underwhelmed this year. Her pr company have relentlessly pushed her on Coty cosmetics, ADIDAS clothing, anything… even Madonna used her on the Material Girl clothes line and she is STILL not ‘there’. It doesn’t bode well.

  16. By all day December 17, 2015

Idk what more they could have done. 5,6 years ago Rita Ora was everywhere. Backstage at A list concerts, red carpets, award shows, all the exclusive parties and nightclubs…she stayed in the tabloids & the media.

She had top tier contacts, she was always where she was supposed to be, she fkd all the right people male and female….she just couldn’t buy a hit to save her life. After years of this what was ROC nation to do?

  17. @JanetCIARA_ December 17, 2015

omg, smdh…. These record labels and their slavery contract terms…. I just cant

  18. AnnaliseKeatingsNewWig December 17, 2015

Y’all conveniently left out the part about her house getting robbed in London and about her flopping worldwide (which explains why she is in desperate need for cash). And she was never ‘making moves’ independently…. because , before Jay-Z met her she was an underage pub singer that slept with old men. She’ll end up filing bankruptcy because there’s no way she can afford those legal fees with the income she’s making.

    • Adele’s River Lea December 17, 2015

How do you know she was a pub singer? You used to stalk her? ??. Pathetic. Rita is a mess but you seem to know a whole lot about her. Tell me more oh ugly one.

      • H December 17, 2015

Rita may be a hot mess but let’s please ignore AKW. He clearly has some personal vendetta against Rita and David and I suspect it’s someone that they both know who doesn’t like them.

    • A Sip of Brandy December 17, 2015

Annalise are you from the same hood as Rita and David?

    Please refer to prior post:

    *my comments were* ——–

Now Playing: Kylie – I Was Gonna Cancel
    March 19, 2015 at 9:00 pm
    Room319 says:

    It’s pretty simple:
While Jay was securing his alliance with the UK Royals, several deals were part of the handshake –
    *Calvin Harris
    *Rita Oral
    *Kylie Minogue
(to name a few British imports)
This handshake allowed the mentioned artists to trade/do business within the US without stepping on the toes of the “international Beyonce machine” and avoiding conflict of interest –
Jay’s people fall under the worldwide Universal umbrella (pardon the Rihanna pun, appropriately so…now boss of her own subsidiary label under Roc Nation) and dodging to the Beyonce machine, Parkwood/Sony/BMG. Surely, Jay plays a silent partner in Parkwood Entertainment.
    Rival companies
So… If Kylie were to play on the “winning team” and allow Roc Nation take the wheel, she already knows how much marketing and promotion is invested into the Beyonce machine.
(See how Adele escaped? Columbia kept her out of the way during this moment….otherwise, they would have rushed another album as if she were Rihanna)
No female artist would have been as large as Beyonce. While we “sit everyone else down” because their respective labels don’t have the same budget to compete, we (Roc) will allow you to work but it will not supercede my wife/other investment.Kylie was probably promised 2-3 singles with promotion and tour support, no doubt…killing the merchandise department due to her own legacy.
The only thing great about this album was the second single ‘I Was Gonna Cancel’ produced by Pharrell (Again, a large portion of her recording budge was spent to ensure US success by working with a guaranteed US chart topping record/formula)
The plan wasn’t for Kylie to succeed with ‘Kiss Me Once’ but more Roc’s UK alliance to keep her relevant while the Beyonce machine continued to run everyone off the road, full speed ahead.
    —-
Tidbit: Two years ago, Roc Nation hosted their pre-Grammy party @ House Of Blues (Hollywood) – the whole roster was there to support, including Kylie
Jay/Solange/Beyonce were all seated upstairs in VIP w/their entourage. (No mention of behaviors)
Kylie had a reserved VIP table, floor level with the crowd, minimal security – seated with a few friends and crew. She drank water all night and left politely before the crowd.

    *****

    MMM hmm. It’s like that.

  22. Yum December 17, 2015

And another artist leaves Roc Nation.

I don’t know why anyone would sign with them on the music label side. They don’t appear to have the team to help produce a solid superstar. Kylie, Alexis Jordan, Bridget Kelly, Melanie Fiona, Elijah Blake and a list of others are all gone. Roc Nation is a shît label

“I could have beer for breakfast, my sanity for lunch…”
    ______________________________

Well, girl, I’ve been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and since you’re going against one of the biggest dogs in the music industry, I, personally, would go ahead and have my sanity for breakfast first. You about to kill whatever left of your career for good this time (no coming back), so don’t start drinking too soon just yet.

  24. lolz December 17, 2015

Are we getting that Nicki post or what?

  25. Diamond Princess December 17, 2015

I’m sick of people saying this will end her career because it never goes well when you sue a record company or the Carters are gonna make sure she never gets radio play. First of all Roc Nation isn’t exactly a huge record label, Sony however is. If she is gonna get chewed out it will be because of Sony not Roc Nation (small fish). And if you idiots haven’t learned by now Beyonce and Jay-Z are not Gods, no one can destroy anyone’s life without giving them permission to do so. I do believe Tidal has been Roc Nation’s main focus as of late and partly the reason why they haven’t been giving their artists deserved attention (Rihanna included). There is this delusional belief that the “powerful Carters” are never told no. Unfortunately Drake, Taylor Swift, Kanye, Adele and countless others have done so. There is this rumor Adele told Beyonce no to a duet but the real story is she said no to Tidal. Can you imagine how big Tidal would be if they got Adele to release her album on their streaming service? That’s also why you saw Beyonce at Janet’s concert, hoping to sneak in back stage to talk with the pop Queen about joining forces with Tidal. Yet the closest Beyonce got to Janet was her dancers. Bloop! Tidal has slowed down Nicki Minaj’s success, Rihanna, Madonna, Cold Play and others. The oh so powerful clan is not so powerful as everyone thinks they are.

  26. Love December 17, 2015

she’s got 1 platinum album… which is 300k sales in a country with a population of 60 million. This girl pays the paps to follow her around and she buys youtube views. Ms Rita gives me a “trust fund baby” vibe… Why is she famous? I really don’t know what she does- I feel she just another rich kid who wanted to become a celebrity so she did.

Why is tgj deleting comments about this west London slût?

  27. Weezy Tha Goat December 17, 2015

Do I guess Cash Money isn’t the only dysfunctional record label ???

  28. S****** Blonde December 17, 2015

Remember when TGJ promoted her, remember when The BeyHive supported her, just because Beyoncé loved her haha, they were trying to stop hurricane Rihanna, what will happen with all that love and support now? Haha 😀

    • Tyler Makiavelli December 17, 2015

      Who’s Rita Ora?

    • Pray for the Youth December 17, 2015

I dont remember when the hive supported her actually. At least as a whole fan base, that is. And even if the hive has voiced support for this girl, that’s all it was… Support. It was a gesture of “let’s give this girl a chance”. And we did. As we all should. The hive is “Beyonce” stans, not “jay z” stans, not “Beyoncé and friends” stans. Beyonceeee Stannsss…

  29. OMG Logic!!! December 17, 2015

This must be difficult for Sam. Having to choose between Rita Whora and Thighyonce. Truly a modern Sophie’s Choice.

    • Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans December 17, 2015

OMG! That movie was CRAZY! It’s definitely one of the saddest films I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t even calm down enough to finish it, just like for “Schindler’s List” and “Chop Shop”.

  30. xedos December 17, 2015

roc nation should be suing her . look how much time they give her to make album while the money go down the drain and she keeps on changing release date. Sony is only the distributor, but if you don’t give them something to distribute they cannot do it. she does everything, but releasing music.

    • Jake December 17, 2015

Her album has been finished for 2 years now , the first was with Calvin Harris so when the breakup happenedd he took back all his songs ( and Jay Z being Jay Z he did not back up Rita to keep them , he backed up Calvin ( who makes way more money , and told her to go back from 0 ) so now her album has been done for months probably 10-12 , and it’s just sitting here because she can’t release while Rihanna is doing her promo ( which has been a year ) . So what else can she do ? Rihanna herself the global superstar making the most money for them is not able to come through so how is Rita supposed to ? She surely would just be gone , and go sign some other place ( Simon Cowell would do wonders for her ) I don’t blame Rita , I blame Jay Z and the exec . I’m a fan of all them but she right

      • Xedos December 17, 2015

Jay z have no control over Calvin’s publishing so he cannot tell him what to do with his music.even if Calvin took back his music, she had enough time to put out an album how many men she’s ran through since then. I cannot keep track

  31. Pray for the Youth December 17, 2015

I get how sometimes labels can be unfair in terms of support, however, I also think that there are some artists who look at record labels and mentors as miracle workers. They can’t GIVE you star power, they can only help you utilize that which you already have. I would feel differently if this were like, Ciara or tinashe, but this is Rita Ora… I haven’t even seen a genuine effort from her. And I don’t see a go getter when I see Rita Ora. She would have put herself out there a long time ago if a successful music career is what she wanted. My label didn’t do this, my label didn’t do that.. But what have YOU done.. Or didn’t do?? It’s been YEARS.. Bye, Rita.

  32. ?Queen Molly? December 17, 2015

Would love to know Slay_hives opinion on this. Im speechless..

  33. ?Queen Molly? December 17, 2015

@Tyler the hive never really used rita…. Shes way more talented than rih but shes still basic… How do you feel tho?

    • Tyler Makiavelli December 17, 2015

      I don’t know her

  34. Lake Erie December 17, 2015

Damn, lol. Cant say i saw this coming. Didn’t Beyoncé vouch for her?

  35. Low key December 17, 2015

Alexis Jordan actually did very well in Europe and went platinum in several countries, like Rita she couldn’t seem to make it in the U.S. She was talking on Twitter about how she left Roc Nation and that the music industry was evil and she couldn’t pop off because she didn’t want to compromise her values. She got married to Luke broadlick and sings Christian music now I think.

I think the issue is they tried to market Rita as the next Rihanna and people weren’t here for it.

  36. wth December 17, 2015

    all that business blah. D:

  37. Ugh December 17, 2015

Rita pretty much shows up at everything and anything, yet there’s still no buzz circulating around her music. She’s certainly welcome to find new management, but if a heavyweight like Jay-Z can’t make her a star in America, then maybe it’s just not meant to be.

    • Jake December 17, 2015

Her management ( Not Roc Nation ) is actually what is making her some coins these days . Cause Roc Nation ain’t doing s*** for her . When you’re a singer and you’re everywhere getting every deal thanks to management and you get no music out cause you’re label ain’t ish that’s what you get . With some great big label like Columbia these girl would’ve been bigger than Rihanna already ( she gets as much contracts/money as Rih with less music ) and btw management are also the one getting her those festivals she does not the Roc . They ain’t doing nothing for this girl . I hope she gets a chance like Ciara ( a better bigger one tho )

  38. King Mark111 /.\ December 17, 2015

Hahahahahahaha! But they tried and DID promote you to the fullest, Jay even went to your first US interview. There’s a point when you don’t bring in the cash, you don’t get invested into. Let’s be real, Rita THOT was brought here because ONE, Jay wanted a new Rihanna. TWO, Adele was killing the game then, and so was other UK artist. She was supposed to be a fused of the two with Jay AND Bey behind her. It didn’t work, we didn’t buy into it. She effed so many and fails. I knew that Chris Brown flop was the last and final try. I remember when Beyonce said that they were friends and that she writes, what happen to the writing?

  39. dydy972 December 17, 2015

Let me turn my attention to Rihanna because girl is struggling to release that Anti album, to the point that she rushed to Sia’s house to listen to demos…
Hope rihanna is not trapped into a nasty s*** like that.

Rita better win that lawsuit and keep pushing for herself

  40. Gunners December 17, 2015

I am convinced that she just doesn’t have the it factor. Roc Nation has invested more in her career than anyone else on the label, imo & ain’t s*** happen, which makes me think her being a top singer is not meant to be. I’m interested in seeing how this case goes because Roc is not going to let her go without a fight due to how much money they have invested in her.

    • Jake December 17, 2015

She actually doing alright in Europe & Asia , it’s just the US she ain’t boow up cause the label didn’t do right by releasing her album over there

  41. Boo December 17, 2015

That ungrateful bish. Jay tried to make you something, but you just don’t have it sis. Slaydele and COLUMBIA snatched your spot using blue collar class and a bit more fashion sense. NO, seriously. She needs to sue herself for being a complete and total flop.

Girl you are delusional if you think somebody is demanding ya album. People don`t want ya singles, chile. You are as plain as your fake haircolor, there is nothing interesting about you except that tea from Rob Kardashian from couple of years ago.

    • Pray for the Youth December 17, 2015

Lmao, Dragg her. She needs to sue herself for being a flop. I’m dead.

  42. Indira December 17, 2015

I don’t think she should be sueing them because in my eyes they did everything they could for her. As someone earlier said she was everywhere. She had all the right contacts, but if you don’t have that “it” factor then you just don’t. Ain’t no sense in investing all this money in you and you aren’t yeilding results. That would have actually been stupid on their part. I think where she could fault Roc Nation is where they were really trying to use the Rihanna formula for her. Modeling Rita after the hottest “it” girl(Rihanna) Just like how Rih was modeled after Bey in the beginning, Giving her the Rihanna hand me downs(fashion, hair, and makeup), and even the same damn rumours(JayZ)! The bottom line is I think what Roc Nation was looking for in Rita was another Rihanna type success story but the saving grace is America just was not looking for another Rihanna!

  43. Who gonna check me boo?? December 17, 2015

Mess the Tea is about to be burning hot this weekend about to be interesting

  44. bunny December 17, 2015

Let this be a lesson to BLACK people who get involve with WHITE PEOPLE in any capacity. JAY Z SHOULD HAVE DROPPED HER! NOW LOOK…..she is going white on HIS BLACK ASS. Talk about gratitude. After all JAY AND BEY have done for this white girl.

    • King Mark111 /.\ December 17, 2015

No because Tia actually was dropped. Wh0ra clams to be a sitting duck, even tho she dropped how many flopped singles?

  46. #JACKIE December 17, 2015

Roc Nation sucks. The only successful artists on there are J. Cole and Rihanna and Anti is nowhere to be f****** found.

    • King Mark111 /.\ December 17, 2015

Wackie is nowhere to be found on the charts. How come?

  47. Rolling rhythm December 17, 2015

Jay seems to sway more to those who can do the work thenselves. Those tend to be the stars and not someone you gotta keep marketing in diff avenues before they can pop. Can’t say I blame him. That’s what he did and several of his protégés have followed suit (Rih, Ye, and Cole).

    • King Mark111 /.\ December 18, 2015

Ye was Dame’s artist, Cole like you said had to put in his own work and Rih was directed by LA Ried and then took control after GGGB. People forget about Neyo, lol. But Jay is in it for him and just him. But he did try with Rita, she just never had IT.

And that’s who put her on the map with the deals , apperances , festivals and all not Roc Nation. The only thung they did for her was produce her first album ( 7 years ago ) and they did not even released it in the states , hence why she wants out of that contract . What’s the point of having great management if you have a shittyy label that won’t release you’re music , or a great label but no management! You have to have both. And these days Roc Nation ain’t looking that great ( Rita , Rihanna , Tidal … Clearly somebody needs to get fired or step down )

Okay rectification Jay Z put her on the map BUT management kept her relevant and rich.

Her dïck sucking skills put her on the map. Keep it real b****. Her sister Elena is her pimp. She is nothing but the industry c*** rag, f**** for tracks bîtch. All the dating and bed hopping she has yet to crack the US music charts with a hit.

Sam and David are the only reason she’s relevant and people’s problem with that is that they’ve given people the impression that she’s famous worldwide when the REFUCKINGALITY is that she can only chart in the UK and Australia. Nobody knows her outside of the blogs, lol. You can’t tell me she’s not sleeping her way to where she is cause she’s done nothing in career to get these deals.. She slept with Omar Grant from Roc

HER LABLE PAY for her studio time; they pay for all the flights and hotels. They pay for all those stylist and make up \ / hair – of which,s he has many. THEY paid to promote her flop music and saw no return. THEY PAID FOR HER RADIO AND YOUTUBE AND GOT NOTHING.

SHE MAKES more money from her modelling, which, she gets from Turn 1st, he management company. SHE was lucky she lasted this long.

This girl sleeps with her songwriters, D-list UK rappers, Bruno Mars, luke Mcgrill, Dave Gardner & Chipmunk & the list goes on. West London slüt been bed hopping since she was a t***. She faked Bruno while he was with Chanel malware.

Some guys I know that grew up with her in London have mentioned numerous times that she was known to give head on a regular basis to several different guys, one of the occasions involved a group of boys (all at once) in a local betting shop.

RITA, GERL… YOU ARE TOO FAR GONE! YOU’VE LITERALLY USED UP EVERY LIFELINE IN THE INDUSTRY.. AND THEN THIS?? BAHAHAHA THAT’S WHAT YOU GET FOR F*CKIN’ PEOPLE OVER, THEY F*CK YOU RIGHT BACK.
RITA’S CAREER IS STAGNANT AND WONT PROGRESS BECAUSE SHE IS HER OWN ENEMY. HER “SUCCESS” IS A FARCE, AN ILLUSION.. A WELL INVESTED ILLUSION – I WISH THEY WOULD PULL THE PLUG ON THIS GENERIC MESS AND SUPPORT DESERVING ARTISTS INSTEAD.
THERE ARE NO MORE STRINGS TO PULL, EXCEPT FOR THE NOOSE AROUND HER CAREER.

I feel like bey was forced to endorse her on Jay’s behalf. I meanbthey had like one or two cameos together after that. Rita had potential. However when she surfaced she was compared heavily to her label big sister Rihanna. No matter how you try to spin it; there wasn’t and still isn’t enough room for the both of them. They tried to make her look, sound, dress, and even act like Rihanna; but she fell short. In the beginning there was hype when everyone felt that she could easily replace gently. She could easily be the next Rihanna. Drake made that diss track for her rip, but it didn’t generate any buzz. Anothe problem is the music. It’s too generic. She is to bland and not that much of an it girl to reach chart heights with bubble gum pop. They need to start giving her some serious ballads and break her into the urban area with something solid. Right now it seems like the industry is going for trap, urban contemporary. Too many good writers to let her waste away in the limelight. I feel so bad for her.

To be honest, she has no reason to sue Roc Nation. Roc Nation literally did a lot and everything for her, she was EVERYWHERE and so many second chances.

You cannot expect Roc to continue investing in a venture that isn’t bringing a return, that Chris Brown feat FLOP must have been the final straw.

    Bye Rita
