Bryson Tiller Reveals Drake Wanted To Sign Him

Fact: Bryson Tiller is R&B’s fastest rising and most promising newbie.

Don’t agree?

Well, one would have to take that it up with Drake who was so impressed by him that he was gearing up to sign him as soon as he heard his critically acclaimed LP ‘T R A P S O U L.’

Details below…

In an interview with ‘Capital Xtra’ Tiller revealed:

He  actually text me one day – I sent him a few songs from T R A P S O U L. He was like ‘Wow these songs are incredible’ – then he said these exact words ‘We want to sign you to OVO’. I was like wow and just stared at the text message for a minute…

“Then I spoke to my manager about X, Y, Z. I think it was about a month after that before I signed to anybody.

“I was bummed out for a long time – just thinking man… But I think I made the right decision signing to RCA.

Drizzy isn’t the only entertainer throwing their support behind the performer.

His fans recently learned that the actor Michael B. Jordan volunteered to direct the video for his next single ‘Exchange.’

Drake, trey Songz, Omarion, Fizz, all these Metro-sexual guys who have ZERO masculine traits get on my last nerves. With there perfect eyebrows and perfect facial hair. Gayboys.

give me J Cole, Wale, Future any day.

So men shouldn’t take care of their appearance?

      • MissyCA January 18, 2016

Ariana needs to stop swallowing lyrics and learn proper vocal techniques and then, just maybe she will get the Number 1 hit her needy ass wants so bad

    • Cough Cough January 18, 2016

Masculinity pertaining to who, hood culture? I’m pretty sure Drake, Trey etc get more chicks than Wale and Cole so there are plenty of chicks who don’t necessarily have the same distorted perception of what it is to be masculine. And future? Girl…… He wears high ponys, buns with blonde tips.. Sit down

Define masculine? Ragged and unkempt? Please, i salute men who take the time to care for their looks because it shows they take pride in their appearance.

      I didn’t. Don’t forget Bryson isn’t a household name yet

It’s kinda weird, apparently people are streaming this dude like crazy but yet, people barely know him…

  5. coolness January 18, 2016

I’ve heard about this before. To be honest, I don’t really get what the big deal is about Bryson Tiller. His voice sounds derivative of the likes of Jeremih and August Alsina (subpar singers at best). Plus, his Trap&B sound is so overdone at this point that can’t understand why he’s being touted as this hot new thing in R&B that’s doing something different. Pls, spare me.

    • #JACKIE January 18, 2016

Have you even listened to his album to truly form an opinion? BAEson slays.

      • Coolness January 18, 2016

I did and I wasn’t impressed. Basic voice, tired Trap&B production and nothing special lyrically. However, music is subjective so if he slays you, that’s fine. As for me, I’m good over here 🙂

I agree! His vocals are basic.

      • #JACKIE January 18, 2016

        Clearly your jealous sis.

Why do we care about this?

    • #JACKIE January 18, 2016

Your mom doesn’t care about you, that’s why you assist a Gaga loving troll. Orphan Annie.

Everyone knows this by now. Spend more time reporting bs articles about Beyoncé and more on real music news.

  8. Jhené Aiko Stan January 18, 2016

Like someone said above, he isn’t doing anything that pretty Beauty Behind the Madness Abel, Jerimiah, August Alsina, or Party Next Door aren’t doing in terms of sound and style. I think what sets him apart are his lyrics. They aren’t as hard as August or club built like Jeremiah/Party Next Door, or as drug fueled as the Weeknd. That being said, it’s not much of a difference setting him apart and I fear he will get lost in this wave of Trap&B. Being signed to RCA won’t help. Look what happened to August.

    • #JACKIE January 18, 2016

Trap Soul has already outsold August, Jeremih and PND albums. It will outsell Jhene too. Stay pressed.

      • Jhene Aiko Stan January 18, 2016

August’s debut has sold around 300k, Bryson is not there. And he has a ways to go before he outsells Souled Out, which has outsold Ciara’s last three albums combined. Even if he does, it wont change the fact that he is in a lane occupied by several other dudes and will be compared to them for however long his career is. Jhene is in a lane of her own. Nothing to be pressed about. Now go pick up another copy of Jackie then maybe it will pass Souled Out’s first week sales.

      • Harry’s Style January 19, 2016

        300k? ?????????. Hmmmmohmygahd..

  9. ???Chile, leave my weave at the door and don’t steal it like those broke ass barb stans??? January 18, 2016

They’re both so emotional. I wanna see them kiss. Lol! I used to think Bryson Tiller was ugly, but I paid a visit to that instagram, and my mind was changed on the dot. He needs to stop hiding his face, though. He’s kinda insecure like Drake take. That’s cute.
