Now, the ‘Applause’ generator has been revealed as one of an elite list of artists tapped to front a major advertising campaign for the 58th annual Grammy Awards.

The much anticipated show, which Gaga has partnered with Intel to perform at, airs live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on February 15th.
Today, the committee announced Gaga along with Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, Carrie Underwood, and The Weeknd as the feature artists of its new ‘Witness Greatness’ campaign.
Set for diffusion across TV, print, and social media, the hook is built around the unique allure of music’s biggest calendar night.
To drive home the epic nature of what awaits, the listed names will all appear on the outdoor billboards, wild postings and online advertisements.

Girl, There are plenty of artists who have performed at the Grammys when they haven’t released music. Different tributes to people, eras, movies, themes or even a start off to a new companion ,whatever- but there have been plenty. When you have vocal versatility, TRUE TALENT and play instruments, you can perform whenever. But then again you’re using Taylor and Rihanna so I don’t think you really understand that.

Things like that have happened before. Not decades ago when grammys were more serious, but several times in the last few years yes. Oscars idem, she did a song for a film this year anyway, so she has the right to be nominated. Like @Cough Cough said, it is all a consequence of her incredible performance with The Sound of Music last year. Every serious critic and producer opened their eyes. Too bad it cannot happen to Rihanna and the likes, you need real talent 🙂
The issue I have is the blatant push of a washed up artist. P L E N T Y of artist with an abundance of talent have came and gone without the push of the resurgence of a career. My argument is that they wouldn’t do that for any other artist, as they sure damn well didn’t do the same for Whitney during her comeback. Now when it comes to Rihanna, my baby girl is going to shine no matter what. E V E R Y O N E is waiting for that album.
