Vanessa White is back with brand new material!
With her sights set on U.S. superstardom the entertainer has dropped a new cut named ‘Nostalgia’ today before the release of its supporting EP which hits retailers on February 19th.
An album is expected to follow months later and, should be armed with material just as powerful as her voice, should see her give the likes of TGJ favourite Tinashe a serious run for their money.
Listen below…
White’s EP is named ‘Chapter One’ and will feature lyrics penned by the British rapper Wretch 32 as well as Natalia Hajjara, both of whom assist the entertainer as she builds a career away from the girl group The Saturdays.
Okay, i’m not going to pit artists against each other because there is enough room for them all, but in terms of leagues Tinashe vocally is in a lower level
Vanessa needs to learn how to dance if she wants to pop. The Saturdays were stiffer than Rihanna’s face when Body Party went gold.
People fail to realize, it’s not all about the dancing. The true talent for which she got signed for is her voice….if that was the case she would be a choreographer & a back up dancer.
Thank you @Chile Please. People go in like you can see dance moves through a speaker.
You don’t have to be able to dance, just innovative with your visuals and performances. There are many female singers that don’t dance and slay.
It’s funny that no one says that a male singer has to be able to dance.
I remember the TGJ writers calling Tinshe basic. Her team finally cut that check, now she’s their favorite. Kii
I don’t like the song.
Her vocals are way to good and it seems she’s got a wonderful headvoice why not make use of it… she sound so amateur on this
Why is it that when artists have their own unique sound and direction the comparisons occur? Meanwhile Tinashe is gearing up for the “JoyRide” promotion and tour. *sips tea*
Okay please stop with the Tinashe this Tinashe that b*******. Vanessa is already more successful than Tinashit and she hasnt even hit solo yet…
The music video for “This Feeling” alone proves that Tinashe has nothing to worry about. She just needs to receive radio support and more primitive, and she’ll become a big star.
