It looks like David Bowie isn’t the only music innovator getting a tribute at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
Today, the Grammys took to Twitter to confirm pop icon Michael Jackson will also be receiving a tribute – more specifically in honor of the reissue of his classic ‘Off the Wall’ album (1979). Tapping R&B crooner Miguel, whose career narrative has lent him more comparisons to Prince than Jackson, the Grammys will see the ‘Coffee’ singer serve up a stirring homage to the King of Pop.
Tuck in below to see what the Grammy nominee will be performing:
‘She’s Out of My Life’
Tune in next Monday to the 58th annual Grammy awards to catch Miggy’s performance and see if he will walk away with a coveted golden gram-o-phone as he has two nominations this year – Best Urban Contemporary Album (‘Wildheart’) and Best R&B Song (‘Coffee’).
Hmmm… not really familiar with his work besides his Mariah collab. But all i know is Basic Swift best not walk away with AOTY lol! Kendrick all the way!! ???
Really, Okay! The first album is better than the second in my opinion, but you must’ve heard how many drinks?
Miguel is performing at the Grammys? LMAO WTF???Next they’ll add Jason Derulo to the line up, I’m crying. ??
Jason DeRulo and Miguel are two totally different types of acts. There’s a reason why Mariah, Keke starts FAVORITE SINGER, consigned Miguel. Duh
Exactly! Let her know.

Please add BEYONCE to this year Grammys!!!
I would not be a total shock if she is a “Surprise” performer. Beyonce and her team would be a fool not to capital off all this “Superbowl/Black Panther” buzz.
This should be interesting. I’m sure somewhere Chris Brown is seething
Rihanna needs to drop Work TONIGHT! I wonder what song will she perform.
I’m not sure he can dance like MJ but I know that I’m here for this. Miguel can do no wrong in my eyes.
Interesting choice. I wonder if they are going to add any other performers to dance to his big hits.
The fact that Miguel was picked and he doesn’t dance, suggests that its meant to be a “VOCAL” tribute. Not sure why people are bringing up Chris Brown…he just cannot sing at all. The tribute is about the music.
Usher or Brno would have been a bonus since they would crack a few moves and still sing well.
Good for him and can’t wait to see his performance at the Grammy awards show as well others artists too
