Christina Milian delivers a stinging anti-Valentine’s Day anthem in the form of new tune ‘Liar,’ which can now boast a video treatment.

An intimate affair that details the singer’s frustration with her unfaithful lover, the timeliness of the song and clip’s release also comes on the heels of her breakup with longtime beau Lil Wayne (amidst ongoing rumors of his infidelity during their courtship).

‘Liar’ leads the latest charge for consumer interest for ‘4U’ – Milian’s first lengthy musical project in nearly 10 years (see:  2006’s ‘So Amazin’).  Following the tunes ‘Rebel’ and ‘Do It,’ will ‘Liar’ be the singer’s true return to commercial relevance?

She lacks creativity and the cool yet mmature sound needed for someone her age to buzz. This is a Luke warm song for a 21 year old.

At first I kinda side eyed it, but I actually really like this.

Christina has recorded some tunes over the years that have not been released for various reasons, i.e Zipper and Video Model are BRILLIANT! 4U is a really great EP I love Do It and Liar and i think Liar is a great track it’s blatantly about Lil Wayne and she’s doing the music she wants to do, loving the videos, and she is doing this all on her own label thats the only reason where not hearing it commercially but this is a dope track and video

I’d actually credit Drake for doing his melodies over beats like this.

The song is cool but she just seems so lame no days. I’m not hating because I was a fan and bump Rebel, but from my perspective she just seems wack as hell…

I’m really sorry to see her potential wasted over the past 5 years or so. It did not help to be involved with The Dream and Wayne. “Dip It Low” and “Whatever U Want” are my favorite songs from Christina and I would like to say that she should go back to that sound, but I think the music game has somewhat shifted away from that. The song presented here is still not the right fit for Christina. Her voice is made for high energy kind of songs like the aforementioned titles and “Say I”.

No… And I’m not a negative person. But I’m tired of girls speaking over tracks and calling it music. Just because you’re cussing and trying to be all Angie does not mean that it’s a good song. Definitely see how are MB is going on ternative and I’m so not mad at that, but give me a break. This sounds like everyone else. and and yes I would give credit to Drake completely. He has totally dominated and change the game for both men and women who can’t really sing. No diss to Drake because I love Drake and his voice but everyone takes his passive way of approaching the track.

The records she’s put out are mediocre and she can do better than this. She’s not growing as an artist and instead wasting her talent to this generic trash that’s playing on mainstream. She doesn’t have the right producers to her own style and production. I tuned into her reality show and the producers she’s worked with have no substance or edge when it comes to creating records that have that quality and fresh sound. The auto-tune mess she’s putting out can have SEATS.
