One week remains until Gwen Stefani unleashes new album ‘This Is What The Truth Feels Like.’
Preceded by singles ‘Used To Love You’ and ‘Make Me Like You,’ the project serves as the No Doubt diva’s first solo effort in ten years.
To further amplify buzz, The Voice coach has rolled out latest cut ‘Misery.’
Produced Mattman & Robin and written by two of Pop’s most potent pens (Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels), the cut awaits below and may be our favorite from the album thus far.
Take a listen below…
We’ve been waiting for the Urban kissed cut and it’s materialized in the form of ‘Misery’ – which ironically is a delightful jam.
The crisp production, catchy hooks, and strong melody could see this become a multi-format hit if radio does away with the ageism.
If not, it’s still a bop!
Cute.
Wow this sounds very throw back pop with updated lyical content. Takes me back to the early mid TRL days. I’m not into pop but true popheads are gonna feel this.. I hear you Gwen. I’d definitely low key bop to it.
Put me in the mind of Hoobastank’s “Reason”. Very different melodies but has that same reminiscent feeling music use to give you.
Yes!
Yes yes! Those were the days…can we go back?
This is a hit. Dope.
WHY SHE GIVING MADONNA BEDTIME STORIES ERA
When will fRih? When will “work” slay like this? Misery better replace that basic crap from that NO.1 spot.
You wish! This will flop just like her last single. When will Onigger get a #1 hit?
Sad that all your worried about is Rihanna being replaced. Lol. Pathetic. While your fave vanishes into obscurity. Even after bey came to the rescue. ???. Anyways. I live this song. I love her period. Especially her no doubt days!!! This song has hit potential if promoted right.
You’re * love*
Iggy Azalea is coming. Quick, start cementing your wig. We’re coming for you Garbz.
She’s long been forgotten. I guess it’s that legal binding to make new music and serve the terms of her contractual agreement.
Her singles have been great. She is an amazing artist!
Alright Gwen. This is what we needed.
Love it!
This song is pure fire! Gwen still got it…!
It’s gonna flop worse than Missy’s single.
After struggling a great deal in the beginning, it’s really nice to see what can happen with the right sound and the right image. Gwen is winning without having to be overly sexual to sell records–that’s pretty rare in today’s world.
Nice song
