There’s no doubt about it…Rihanna is a force to be reckoned with on a singles and popularity front.
Alas, despite the success of her infectious new single ‘Work‘ the Roc Nation royal is in the middle of a very serious career crisis.
Her ‘ANTI’ tour is tanking.
Bad news for the talented songbird below…
Keen to support her new album with her grandest live show to date, the entertainer launched the ‘ANTI World Tour‘ with the support of Samsung who pumped a reported $25 million into its parent album’s campaign.
Alas, after learning tickets weren’t selling as fast as she had hoped, the performer teamed up with her camp to give several away with hopes that doing so would fill the tour’s empty seats.
Now, after low ticket sales in the United Kingdom forced her to temporarily pull the plug on several shows in the market, she has learned that the show is in serious trouble in the United States.
How so? Ticket resellers, once keen to make a profit from their purchases, have been forced to slash their prices in a bid to convince members of the general public to pick them up.
Rihanna concert tickets for her 2016 ‘Anti World Tour’ dates are on sale now for discount prices with promo code. Trusted secondary ticket market provider CapitalCityTickets.com is providing Rihanna fans with a promo code CITY5 to save an additional 5% on all orders.
Unfortunately, even as ‘Work’ sits atop the Billboard Hot 100, none of the shows she has lined up have sold out prompting the radio platform Power 105.1 to make the following observation:
How can it be that the number-one artist on the charts cannot sell out her shows in Florida at the height of Spring Break?
Resellers have slashed ticket prices. They overestimated demand, especially when they’re asking over 1,000 dollars for front and center seats. They have deeply discounted tickets so they’re not left holding the bag.
In Tampa, authorized resellers are stuck with about 100 seats in the first 10 rows on the floor.
