Ciara‘s departure from Epic is doing little to stop her quest for world domination.
For, news of her engagement to the superstar athlete Russell Wilson has been followed by news that she is to host one of the biggest nights in the music industry’s calendar.

Ludacris will host the ceremony for the third time and, much to the delight of her fans, has pulled Ciara along for the ride (you see what we did there?).
He shared:
It is my honor to host the Billboard Music Awards for the third year and a pleasure to host with my good friend Ciara. I’m looking forward to another great show in a new and exciting venue.
She added:
The Billboard Music Awards is one of best awards shows to honour chart success. My great friend Ludacris and I have also shared songs together on the Billboard chart.I look forward to sharing the stage with him on this special night. It will definitely be a night to remember!
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will be held May 22 at the brand-new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a live broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
