Time magazine’s ‘The 100 Most Influential People’ list has celebrated the meteoric rise of the rapper Nicki Minaj by welcoming her to its exclusive club.
Good news below…
The list is now in its thirteenth year and honours what it believes are the most influential people in the world.
This year, as sales of her first and third album continue to rise in the U.S, Minaj has learned that she now stands as one of these people, rubbing shoulders with Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Zuckerberg and the International Monetary Fund leader Christina Lagarde.
No doubt a career high for the Queens, New York native, her inclusion on the list sees her extend her lead as the music’s most impactful female rapper and was announced before the premiere of her very first ABC TV series.
