With a new album due late summer, Alicia Keys is heating up the promotional trail.

The campaign has seen her trek Europe in earnest this month, with her most recent stop being Italian talk show Che temo cha fa.

There, the 15-time Grammy winner raised the roof with an emotionally charged showing of new number ‘Hallelujah.’

Together with current single ‘In Common,’ the track will feature on Keys’ as-yet-untitled LP.

Check out her resonating showing after the jump…

Great performance, great song.

Sure it’s not a “single,” but it doesn’t have us amped for the body of work that will be her project.

Your thoughts?

The show it’s called ‘Che TeMpo che fa’, wich means weather. I live in Venice, Italy. If you write ‘temo’ it means ‘fear’. Thanks.

This era is going to be her biggest flop era

        Dear Alicia:

why jump on the bandwagon of what’s on the charts. Lessons learned, Diary, If I ain’t got you, Fallen, Butterfly, honey sit at that piano, write some heartbreaking lyrics and sing your heart out. Never Can Say Goodbye (by the jacksons) should have been a remake for you.

Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera keep having flops because they won’t embrace the “soul” in there voice and spirit and make that classic RnB cd. Just do it. and Mariah Carey stop playing and make that Gospel CD you know you really want to make. Kelly Price go to hell.

I agree, she’s trying to keep up with the times and is leaving her soulful sound in the process. I think she will lose some of her chore r&b fan base with this sound. Yet it’s not edgy enough to pick up any new fans. Maybe she’ll see that this is not working and go back to a more soulful sound. But then people aren’t really buying r&b. It’s tough to keep the longevity going album after album. Not everyone has die hards like Beyoncé’s fans who will allow her to experiment and basically go on whatever journey that she leads them through.

*Sighs*. Good luck, Alicia … In Common has been out for over a month and its chart position is abysmal

I love in common but it doesn’t suit her visually. The video was so boring i could just about get through it once (thats streaming out of the window) and she doesn’t have that pizzaz to preform it.
It stays heavily played on my device where i can’t see her.

    Bravo AK.,
love this song, her music has taken a whole new turn. What I like about her, she is not competing with any of the other recording stars. Do you AK., love your new song.
