The Voice season 11 kicks off in September and will welcome two new additions to its famed red chairs.
Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus will join originals Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches on the NBC hit.
True to the show’s rotating roster of talent, they replace Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams – who are sitting the season out.
It’ll mark the first time two females have occupied spots on the US series, which up until now has always favored a three guys/one girl format.
Both ladies have new music on the horizon and will more than likely use the platform to push material.
Jury’s out on how they’ll will fare. But, for now, peep another promo snap after the jump…
Adam- He sounds like Elmo from Sesame Street!
Miley- Her vocals are non existent!
Alicia- Her voice always sound like somebody lit a blow torch inside her throat!
Blake- He sounds like your average 40 plus year old country man with a Deep South accent singing with no soul!
It’s a shame on a show called “The Voice” they only have one true vocalist (Christina).
Not Elmo, lmfaooo ???!!! Seriously though, the line-up of coaches often leaves me scratching my head. Christina may have her issues with doing too much as a vocalist but she’s the most recognisable for her voice among all the coaches. I think Usher displayed a lot of knowledge and skill as a vocalist and coach. Much more than his recent musical outputs should give him credit for.
I agree with Christina and Usher. At the end of the day all these networks care about is ratings so ironically “vocals” take a back seat despite that being the primis of the show
DEATH NOT ELMO!!!!! ??????
And after all that twerking and nonsense Miley is nowhere to be found defending black lives matter or anything like it. That’s why I hate white artists. They are vultures. I hate her.
Looks like Miley is calming down God is good ??????
I am ready for mileys to release new music! Glad she’s wearing longer wigs now too. Keys looks oily af.
Miley, you look good girl! Loving those thigh-high boots. Tbh, I only watched this show to scope Usher’s fine a** when he was a coach on Season’s 4 and 6. Never cared for it since then – especially with the omnipresence of Blake and Adam ??. However, I’m quite keen on what Alicia will bring to the table.
You don’t have to have a voice to be a judge. The contestants are the ones that need to have a voice.
Is this your way of defending Rihanna for being a special guest/vocal advisor?
RiRi still on the brain I see.
I hope being on The Voice does something for Alicia’s new album. In Common is a good song but doesn’t seem to be catching on (probably too experimental for her standards). Keys is the only R&B act besides Beyonce who can still sell, hopefully she does well
Mildred better cling to reality tv to save her career from reaching Demi Lovato levels of irrelevancy kii
Nice
