  3. BEYSTAN_ SINCE 1997 August 22, 2016

Then Future will challenge Ciara to a dance off for his chance to regain full custodyd of baby future ????

It’s crazy how Ciara has never performed on the MAIN STAGE at the VMA’s even during her “prime” yet Future non performing self gets a prime slot. Things that make you go hmmmm

  4. Quinn August 22, 2016

I thought they were going to announce someone I actually care about ?.

  5. RihNavy August 22, 2016

  6. Apple August 22, 2016

  8. Danzou August 22, 2016

Yall alll asking why but be the first to shout racism and white supremacy. why NOT? this is huge for black culture and trap music which is a lane white people cant step in and now future is performing at the VMAs? Such a huge platform for an artist like him and it opens doors you fools.

  9. john bieber August 22, 2016

Future is having a great career and preparing for a great future, while ciara career is in the BIN!!

  10. Tori August 22, 2016

They just lost major creditability and viewers just like that!

    • Danzou August 22, 2016

lol how? by including black culture? why is there such a negative connotation to future?

      • Tori August 22, 2016

…because he’s a terrible performer! This has nothing to do with race but if you want to go there, its a predominantly white audience show due to its heavy pop performances and nominations. Most black artist that partake in the show are usually mainstream (pop/crossover). He’s neither pop or a crossover artist, he raps about s** and drug use as well as using guns, killing and living in trap houses. He’s basically everything white America (their main audience) stand against so I’m sure me and a lot of other are wondering why on God’s green Earth is he performing! They’ve included black culture plenty of times, but if he’s what you consider “black culture” then you seriously have a problem. Future doesn’t represent black culture, black man, black music, nor does he properly represent hip-hop music. He represents the true definition of a fad artist as well as a single artist, oh let’s not forget the dead beat dad and cheating as men culture, he could be the spoke person for those cultures.

      • Danzou August 22, 2016

Being pop is no excuse babe do your research. Black people invented all forms of American music other than some folk and country influences and even those genres have borrowed a lot from R&B over the years. You say future is a singles artist but he had more than one album in the top five on billboard in one year. His music has gone top 40 more than once. HOW is he not gaining crossover appeal? He was on the cover of rolling Stone magazine. It doesn’t really get more crossover than that not to mention he has music with ariana grande as well as other pop stars right now so you’re honestly not making any sense. Future IS part out black culture and that fact that you think because the VMAs have a predominantly white audience should literally determine him being there speaks volumes. I’m trying not to diss you but you’re sounding crazy.

      • Tori August 23, 2016

All of the success that you mentioned is because of his collaborations with Drake, a pop star. He had absolutely no pop appeal before Ciara and Future. Most people didn’t even know the man till he was dating Ciara. Future as an artist is a joke. Is any of his albums selling/streaming like his singles? NO because he’s not that good! And stop saying he’s a representation of black culture, you make us look bad.

  11. Danzou August 22, 2016

I think future being invited to perform at the VMAs and the reactionhe’s getting speaks volumes of what ya’ll think subconsciously. Why should he be restricted to the BET awards? Tori Kelly has been at the BET awards two years in a row and no one bats an eye. If fututre was white yall wouldnt question anything. Remember when miley was twerking and performed? lol like…why is it edgy for white people to be black but its ghetto for blacks to be black? I honestly want answers dont just downvote me. speak the f*** up.

    • Lea August 22, 2016

Great question, but you’re asking for awnsers in the wrong place. The comment section here is usually filled with the same dumb, ghetto, ratchet, jobless, uneducated, simple-minded homosexuals seeking approval. They don’t have family or anything important to do with their pathetic little lives besides sit and hate on beautiful women and sometimes men who have more than they will ever have in a lifetime. Lmao!

      • Danzou August 22, 2016

U DID NOT HAVE TO TELL THE TRUTH LIKE THAT!!! lol

  12. Bitchpleaseeee August 22, 2016

    ??????

  13. Weezy Tha Goat/ Zayn is ? August 22, 2016

Future has bops whether you like it or not.

    • Danzou August 22, 2016

Right. At this point it isnt about the music with future. Its prejudiced. He DOES have nice music and to be honest i absolutely hated him at first but his music got better and hes being seen as a typical street n**** making street n**** music but the gag is he’s popping all of a sudden so of course white people are about to appropriate and suck him for all hes worth. They want a piece of black culture anyway they can get it cuz to be honest trap music has been around for decades now but now that its no longer “ghetto” to white people he’s being invited to the awards. How am i the only one who sees this?

  14. The Kpop Guy, Matt~ August 22, 2016
