September is oh so near, as such so is the release of Lady Gaga‘s long-awaited comeback single.
Earlier this month, Mother Monster cryptically revealed that the track – ‘Perfect Illusion’ – will arrive within the course of the next few weeks.
Additional details remain scarce, although it was confirmed that the cut was produced by Mark Ronson together with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.
Though embracing an altogether more muted approach than previous campaigns, Gaga upped the volume moments ago.

Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old shared this snap of the ‘Illusion’ creators together with the caption:

Sure, it’s not the most…but it’s certainly something.
The timing is quite curious too – given rumors (though unsubstantiated) of a performance at tonight’s VMAs.
Who knows.
What is certain is that a reveal is near and we’re all sorts of excited!
