Vocal powerhouse JoJo lived up to her billing this morning on the Elvis Duran Show.
The singer was in the studio to perform her new single ‘F**k Apologies’ – and she did not disappoint.
Adapted to the live setting, the track (the studio version of which features Wiz Khalifa) was performed acoustically and sounded like bliss.

JoJo is part of an elite list of acts who can make a track sound even better live. The way she “churched” it up gave us chills.
A raw and rare talent who we’re glad is finally getting the chance she deserves.

Okay here’s my thing, Jojo is very talented don’t get me wrong…. It’s just something ain’t there. This generation don’t wanna hear no powerhouse vocalist. I’m sorry but it’s the truth.. We want mediocre talent that doesn’t overwhelm us. She needs to tone it down and hold back unfortunately atleast until she get back in the door.
Dumbest statement ever. “Please be mediocre, make generic music and dumb down your vocals please”. A true, passionate artist doesn’t compromise their artistry for a bunch of untalented consumers who know nothing about the craft. That is why none of the artists your referring to will be remembered, cause mediocrity breeds forgetfulness. No greats fit into what you’re talking about. And popular doesn’t equal great so please don’t try that route.

SlayJo!!!! Her vocals are undeniable but for an Uptempo song like this, I’m not sure if the acoustic value really drives the nature of the song. That being said, I wish she could have debut this on a bigger stage, with more viewers. She had to hold back a bit with that mic.
