Because the Brit-Pop quad have been tapped as openers on the US arena leg of Ariana Grande‘s ‘Dangerous Woman Tour.’

The slot serves as quite the coup for the ‘Black Magic’ belters.
They have headlined arenas themselves on home soil and in mainland Europe, yet they are still building their profile Stateside. Something this gig will help with in earnest.
The ladies are also gearing up for the release of the lead single from their 4th album (rumored to be called ‘Shout Out To My Ex’). Again, making the timing and location of the tour bountifully beneficial.

You’re right and wrong, most people give that credit to Drake for obvious reason being Drake’s Take Care album.
Well they have to be somebody else’s supporting act considering their last tour here got cancelled due to poor sales. Wonder if their new album will beat Get Weird’s 2 week chart run.
So Ariana will have rings sung around her like she did with Jessie J.
Ariana has her vocal talents based on Mariah covers but cannot garner the same impact with her own tone/voice. If we are to be honest Perri, Jesy & Jade will be the stars of this tour, Grande ponytail will have to take a backseat
Victoria Monet, will be the star.

I WOULD go see this tour, because I love Victoria Monet and Little Mix,and I even like a few Ariana songs. But I listened to Ariana’s new album and it was boring af. If this tour had been off her last album I would have gone.
