Celine Dion is ‘Recovering.’

It’s been eight months since the iconic songstress lost the love of her life and manager Rene Angelil to cancer.

Adhering to her tried and true trademark of “the show must go on,” the songbird channels her feelings into an emotional new ballad.

Penned by Pop star Pink, the aptly titled ‘Recovering’ tugs at the heart-strings and lyrically captures the process of healing.

Take a listen below…

Dion delivered sonically, vocally, and emotively.

It’s may not the single some have been hoping for – and may not be a single at all. It is, however, a resonating reminder of the enduring quality of Celine’s output.

‘Recovery’ is available on iTunes now.

      Yas!!!

      Celine is…

    • JOHNVIDAL September 8, 2016

What the hell? This bish can outsell all these basic people´s faves at their pop peaks by releasing a French album that “only” sells in France and Canada LOL That´s a true bad bish! I remember it also happened with her previous French album. She sold like a million copies only in France, and we are talking 2012-13, not 1998 🙂

I can’t even…Celine you have reduced me to an emotional messy puddle of tears, you beautiful beautiful lady.

  3. Ron September 8, 2016

I’m a Celine fan but the marketing behind this is pathetic to me. The song is beautiful but it seems as though she’s trying to capitalize from her husbands passing.
Even in the pic it’s like “look at me I’m sad”

The most underrated diva from the 90’s!

    • Hi Hater! September 8, 2016

She’s only underrated because she is white French and black America won’t give her credit at award show or rate her as one of the greatest…. So sad.

      • SMH September 8, 2016

Sit please, and don’t put it on Black America. White America hasn’t exactly been buying her albums in droves or showering her with awards and accolades in the last few years either.

      • gina September 8, 2016

Girl shut up. Black America isn’t even her audience dumbasss.

      • The Legend Called Missy Elliott September 8, 2016

She has every accolade known to man, what else do you want her to have???

    • LmfaoHoe September 8, 2016

How exactly is Celine underrated ?? she has seen huge success in her own right. Black America? girl if you don’t get out of here with that bs. Last I checked she doesn’t target ” US ” as her audience unlike Whitney and Mariah. Celine has a few nice songs I bop to but nothing like Whitneys and especially Mariah’s catalog.

    • JOHNVIDAL September 8, 2016

She´s not underrated. Success wise and power of her name wise, worldwide, she´s definitely at the same level (or bigger) than my beloved Mariah and Whitney. A part of American audience are more into newer things or names that are constantly talked about and you may have that impression (especially if you only visit urban blogs like this one 🙂 ). But she´s not underrated. Plus she has her right amount of awards and all (always giving credit to real writers btw, unlike others 🙂 ).

I can’t believe someone actually said that Celine is “underrated”. Based on what?

  5. Mr.StLaurent September 8, 2016

She just release a french album, not realy a good one.
But I always love her vocal ?

  6. JOHNVIDAL September 8, 2016

I would be truly surprised if her new English album is going to be released this same year since her new French one just dropped. Maybe this song is just a gift to the fans because the song by Pink was already talked about a lot? Anyway, it sounds great.
I´ve been listening to the French album these last few days and it is great. Sounds fresh. More than what I expected after everything she went through this year. For some reason her French albums are being better musically than her English ones these last few years.

Class act through and through. And her voice is aging beautifully. BRING BACK THE 90s.

  8. #JACKIE September 8, 2016

    Boring song.

  9. Indie September 8, 2016

I’m in tears… This is what music is about, real and from the heart, God Bless Celine Dione she is a true legend, and God Bless Pink for being a`bye to capture Celine’s emotions in words

  10. UR September 8, 2016

My heart will go on for you, Celine.

  11. JOHNVIDAL September 8, 2016

Wow I have actually just checked some facts about the album and she has debuted with DOUBLE numbers than her previous French album in France (which had a great debut as always already as always). Not to mention she has just ended giving some concerts in these places and they were 17 SOLD-OUT concerts in Quebec alone (and 7 in France). I mean, bad bish to the max.

  12. OMG Logic!!! September 8, 2016

A lot of people surprised about Celine slaying, including me. This b1tch stays killing it on the DL. Silent but deadly.

  13. eric September 8, 2016

I like Celine a lot more than I do the song.

  14. Stephy September 8, 2016

The reason why blacks won’t accept her is because she’s boring. Celine is like Whitney without the soul or originality. Also, her music is like watching paint dry. But, her voice is one of a kind. She’s more successful than Mariah & Whitney… But, overall, Nippy & MC has more impact & influence. Especially, on the younger generation of singers that came after them…
    .
Celine’s a very nice lady tho. But, extremely boring. This song is boring. Vocally, it’s nice. And congrats on her selling a whopping 310K+ copies of her French album within a week, WW. Her french audience always shows out for her.

Celine is a good example of how you can she gracefully without pandering to the latest trends but still release contemporary music. Some of her peers could take note. Completely agree about her French output being on the whole superior to her English one.
