“Everybody’s invited to this party we’re about to throw – don’t be the guy left out!”
Those were the words of a certain Bruno Mars during a new promotional interview for new album ’24k Magic.’
Due in stores November 18th, the LP is preceded at retail by its title track, which has thus far peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.
With a slew of TV spots lined up, such as the AMAs, EMAs, and The X Factor this Sunday, the funky production is almost certainly set to climb even higher.
Surprisingly, despite this, the crooner insists this cycle is not about singles success.
Hinting that his current release is merely an “invitation” to the main attraction (aka the album as a whole), Mars explained to host Carson Daly that the he wants the set to be consumed whole. In all its turnt up glory.
Head below to watch the entire chat, during which Bruno muses on whether his Super Bowl collaborator Beyonce will appear on his record.
Though we feel both he and Beyonce missed a major window to build on their ‘Bowl bond musically, we’re still buzzed to hear the ’24k Magic’ album.
At 9-tracks, the pressure will no doubt be on for every song to deliver. But with Mr Mars seeming confident, we are too.
Roll on November!

Can we get a Ciara birthday post??❤️
No one cares sis..but happy birthday to her.
The only surprise would be any of the Lemonade singles topping the charts b****.
@jackie ki ain’t it the truth
But what has CI-MONSTER topped in 2016, 2015, 2014 e.t.c
Lemonade is the best selling album worldwide released in 2016 as it remains the only album to have sold 2.5 million copies…meanwhile CI-MONSTER’S LIFE-GOAL is somewhere praying to GOD, ALLAH, E.T.C that she gets pregnant by Russell so she has him hooked forever…LOL
Stay pressed b****.
I love you too @JACKIE..LMAO
More excited for The Weeknds album tbh.
Me too…24K MAGIC was a step back for him. He was clearly trying to chase UPTOWN FUNK kinda success, which i knew he was going to do anyways.
Exactly
Does anyone know what the total sales of JACKIE is….asking for a friend.
Please let it go. It’s not even funny anymore.
Ask your doctor for those test results boo.
62k I believe
I love how the neurotic beyhive hype up her album sales as if they’re anything to write home about. Chile, bye! When Bey can sell like Adele and Taylor, then we’ll talk!
She’s already sold like Taylor for the first 10 years of her solo career. DIL (12m WW), B’Day (8m WW), IASF (8m WW).
.
No one is selling like Adele PERIOD! So trying to use that as a drag is stale and dumb.
Why only 9 tracks and no features!
It will probably still shít all over Abel’s album, I imagine starboy to be this long ass album with tons of filler, just like BBTM.
But Joe’s album will be better than both of them, even if it doesn’t sell as much.
#Nobember 11 can’t come soon enough!
#MyNameisJoeThomas
Can we get Chunky on Apple Music tho…
I don’t care if he was trying to remake Uptown Funk. I’m just glad he changed his old sound. I Haaattteeedddd Bruno Mars back when he was making songs like Grenade, Just the way you are, The Lazy Song… Ugh. Cringe fest. And as for Abel. I don’t see the appeal. That fool can’t sing a lick, I can’t understand how anyone can listen to an album full of mating calls, and I’m tired of the genre. I want Jay to give me an album. I’ll take one from Cole as well and surprisingly, I want Trey Songz to release an album. I want some male R&B music. And Trigga was pretty good. Usher let me down and Chris has been making the same exact song since 2009.
thats what im saying. Im wondering when the males in the industry will step their game up. Is it just me or does it seem like alot of artists in GENERAL are hit or miss these days. How can you work on an album for years and years and listen back not possibly knowing the album wont be received well or your general audience wont bite???
Remember back in the day (early 90’s) albums were cohesive bodies of work and you invested in an album knowing it was of quality…and you more than like wouldn’t get another one from that artist for years.
I’ll tell you one thing. Artists today are spoilleeddd. Spoiled. They have iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, social media for promotion, etc. They do not have to work as hard as the old school artists, so they simply, don’t. If they’ve garnered enough popularity and hype, they can get away with releasing whatever they want for years and still get people to buy it. As for the men, I don’t know. A lot of them are trying way too hard to be pop stars. Just make your music and go. Where’s the authenticity? Where’s the originality? And one thing that had no business ever leaving mainstream music, Where is the soul? I’m so glad I wasn’t born in the 2000’s. I’d be a little uncultured hooligan.
listen to zayn Malik lol his album was good
Usually when I first hear a song I dislike it then it slowly grows on me but for some reason 24K Magic did the opposite lol. It isn’t horrible but it could’ve been better especially with all that talent. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of his album
He’s a great performer, but his music just isn’t for me unless he’s on a stage bringing his tracks to life!
Lol Jackie got some of the best come backs
Supposedly Missy made the cut too. There’s a pic on IG of them cookin’ up in the studio.
Nice
