Lady Gaga is heading to Houston. And not for a vacation, but to headline the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The 30-year-old superstar was revealed this week as chosen performer to rock the house at the February 5th extravaganza. Confirmation which came after weeks of speculation.
With the cat out of the bag, Gaga stopped by FOX’s NFL On Sunday to dish on the gig – which she says she’s been planning in her head since age 4.

She’s always so overtly dramatic when talking about herself. No 4 year old knows or understands the super bowl. Furthermore, why is this just coming up now? It’s like she only says things that are only relevant to the moment, true or not.

I like gaga but idk if she’s halftime ready. I dont think people who plays sports and like sports understands her. However, i know she’ll bring the entertainment tho. Hopefully they’ll pic rihanna or even jlo next year. Tbh jlo should’ve been picked this year I feel like she would murder the superbowl.

The direction for Gaga’s new album should’ve taken inspiration from Springsteen and Tina Turner if she knew that performing at the Super Bowl in 2017 was a possibility…The first single should’ve been an ‘Edge Of Glory’ type song…hopefully she has something anthemic on the new album, but it doesn’t seem like it…having said that, The Edge Of Glory is going to sound great!

I don´t know why but I´m sure Edge of Glory will be performed. It fits so well that last part of the final part where the artists ususally do a poignant song. In her case, it will be with real vocals 🙂 About Tina and Bruce… Tina was my first favorite artist when I was 4! lol Love her. That´s real uniqueness. Bruce: if I had to choose an artist that I believe is more respected by people in general around the globe taht would be him. His concerts are events non stop for decades. They way he knows about people´s problems and what is going on in every country he visits is mazing. He´s a great man. And Born in the USA is one of the best albums in history no doubt. I adore “Philadelphia” too.
