Waving the flag for Hip Hop, Jeezy and Meek Mill made some serious moves on the Billboard 200 this week with their respective releases ‘Trap or Die 3’ and ‘DC4.’
While the former is leading the pack with his third run at #1 (and 8th consecutive top 10), Mill – who notched 7 new entries on the Hot 100 this week alone – landed at #3 on the albums’ tally.
[‘Trap or Die’], which was released on Oct. 28 through YJ/CTE/Def Jam Records, earned a little more than 89,000 units in the week ending Nov. 3, according to Nielsen Music. The set sold 73,000 in traditional album sales.
Meek Mill’s new mixtape album ‘DC4′ debuts at No. 3 with 87,000 units (and 45,000 in traditional album sales), marking his third charting effort. Of its 87,000 units start, a whopping 37,000 were streaming equivalent album units.”
