Break-ups to make-ups are routine in R&B. And Pretty Ricky are the latest to hop-aboard the comeback train.

Many will remember the quad for their raunchy mid-00’s hits such as ‘Grind With Me’ and ‘Your Body.’

Now, they say there’s more on the way.

Taking to Instagram, member Spectacular shared the shot below touting the group’s return…

While renown for their jokester ways, they had a very serious run of success.

‘Grind’ hit #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2004 and follow-up ‘Your Body’ peaked at #12. Their housing album, ‘Bluestars,’ was certified Gold. Sophomore set ‘Late Night Special’ debuted at #1 in 2007.

Member Pleasure P would go on to leave the group shortly after for a brief spell of solo success.

With the band back together, are higher-heights nigh? Time will tell.

In the meanwhile, relive these…

  5. Heyyyyy Yaaaaa November 12, 2016

They had a good run. If they can put out good catchy urban/rnb music they will be good. As long as it’s not one of those annoying rnb song with that trap beat and n***** and b****** lyrics OMG am I the only one who dislike that kind of new rnb à la Chris brown/Bryson tiller?

    • #Nicole Nation/Bruno >>>>>> Abel November 12, 2016

I hate that stupid crap especially when OG’s like Usher and R. Kelly do it too.

      • Heyyyyy Yaaaaa November 12, 2016

OMG when Usher does it it’s so stupid like why you gotta go that low? You’re better than this

    • 2bad2bme November 12, 2016

I agree and their record sales look just as stupid as they sound. That is why Bruno Mars is about to take over. (Plays Versace On The Floor)

Can’t say that I’m against it. It’s worth a shot. Grind was the shyt. Nobody can say it wasn’t.

  7. RihYonce November 12, 2016

I used to love them back in middle school !!! I’m here for it especially if Pleasure is involved

Way too late. This is why you have a solid group success run and then maybe try solo Vs jumping ship at the hype, having a failed solo run and now have nothing to go back to. See how DC to a BREAK, tried a solo run and when it worked out came BACK to CLOSE the group.

Im here for it! Brings back junior high school memories. That blustars album was LITTT.

  10. #Nicole Nation/Bruno >>>>>> Abel November 12, 2016

The only ones who make nasty r&b the right way. Everybody else who tries to get as nasty as possible (R. Kelly) always sounds fake and corny af.

  11. Danzou November 12, 2016

Can’t lie they had rnb on lock in middle school.

  12. Tori November 12, 2016

Maybe just a tour, don’t waste your money trying to put out new music in the climate. Do like 2 hot ass songs to promote the tour, go on tour, go home! I don’t know too many ppl looking for new PR music anyway soooo…

  13. #ispeakfacts November 12, 2016

    I don’t know they flop as$

    • Jamie November 12, 2016

Then how do you know they’re a flop? Before you even think to answer, shut the fukkkkk allllll the way up.

ANYBODY can make a comeback as long as the material is right and everything is set up properly .
Pretty Ricky provided us with not 1 , not 2 , but 3 GOOD ALBUMS . eventho the last didn’t get that much attention . As long as they stay true to their sound and leave the ” Trap N B ” to the lames then they’ll be just fine .
I don’t know about y’all but I miss boy/girl groups being in full effect ! Hopefully 2017 can change that .

  16. brazio November 12, 2016

They are great together….I’ve been waiting for the original members to get back together….okay DC5…next

  17. Lake Erie November 12, 2016

Pretty Ricky was the SH!T!!! I hope they are not doing it indie and rushing an album out after a single or two. They need to go through some type of conditioning phase first. …. but I’m here for it. “Love like Honey” is my favorite song from them of all…

  18. Trose November 12, 2016

Chile did we forget about the tragedy that was spec TWERKING in a hot red thong and challenging Chris Brown and bow wow only to be left with the response of crickets LMAO how embarrassing! Any who that hotline song was the ISH in 2007 and the song spec was tweRKING too tipsy was a banga too jus give me more music less tweaking this go round

  19. B_Roni November 12, 2016

I remember we met them back when I was in 9th grade at islands of adventures for hour show choir competition. They had just gotten a record deal and told us they would be on 106& park and no one believe them. Pleasure P was trying to talk one of my home girls and no one believe them. Little did we know we would see them two weeks later on tv lol. But they actually had catchy songs until pleasure p left and they replaced him with that dude name Lingerie . That cookie cutter song was a joke. Lol

  22. Joe McKee November 13, 2016

I think its a great idea! Them boys got talent and pleasure p made that group come together more with his voice. Not to mention, they made great music. All of their music i can relate to especially when it come down to the ladies…

  23. Joe McKee November 13, 2016

I just hope they stick to their sound. Not this new stuff folk doing. Its not really no good R&B out anymore. Everybody doing the same thing. I think we done got away from the old music that after you heard it made you really want get with your lady and just focus on pleasing her.

  24. Joe McKee November 13, 2016

We need more groups like jagged edge, boys the men, dru hill, and new edition…..I miss the music the made. It was just real

  25. Ciah’s Turtle November 14, 2016
