“Africans in the Middle East are the last of the diaspora. They really really REALLY need our help and attention.”

After dashing disses at Nicki Minaj and Lena Dunham earlier on this week, Azealia Banks has decided to turn her gaze to more pressing issues.

One of these is the plight of Africans facing cruelty, racism and discrimination in Asia and the Middle East.

Often ignored by the press, racially-motivated attacks against black people from other minority groups in foreign countries has led to the birth of “Travelling while Black’ videos designed to offer the community help and advice before they touch down.

What Azealia Banks has to say about this and its ties to Syria‘s struggles?

Find out below…

She took to Facebook to share the following message…

Africans in the Middle East are the last of the diaspora. They really really REALLY need our help and attention. They have no visibility/money/social status and they and they’re children will be the most vulnerable during this coming war.

No american reporter in their right mind would step foot in Syria. Anything you see on the news is being spoon fed to the media by an insider. Someone who is involved in the battles, All we get to know as “truth” is regurgitated bits of info the insider provides. There are (and will be) many many many many more casualties of this war than all of the fair skinned arabs you see on tv.

That grape juice is forgetting that they are the MEDIA.Are you condemning AB for what she’s saying or is this article just posted for views and comments. I love Beyonce but everyone of her articles are positive, even when it’s controversial; same with Ciara. You need to stop these bias posts to bring more positivity to the site. People only comment on here when it’s controversial due to you bringing the hype to us. You should either state how you feel yourself rather than making us look like your peasants. Your part of the reason for why cyber bullying exist THAT GRAPEJUICE!!

Are you retarded? When has TGJ ever bashed Azealia?

      • IDONOTREPLY2TROLLz December 22, 2016

I never said that they bashed her. You one of those that grape juice subscribers. Are they paying you well Miss/Mr?

To stay on topic. Azealia Banks is preaching. She stay educated but she got a slick mouth for no reason.

Why aren’t African governments standing up to them?

As provoking as she can be, Azealia is a brilliant young lady. She’s fluent in 2 languages and Ian very aware of social issues. I really wish she would be less combative with people because Azealia had the potential to be a music icon through her unique style and social awareness. She’s too smart for her own good. This girl could literally be the first black female rapper with a full Spanish album and Latin Grammys AND American Grammys. I really hope she finds peace within herself and used her knowledge and skills for good. She could really break barriers.

Hate or love her, she is speaking TRUTH!

You know… i think that she is annoying as f*** BUT I WILL SAY if you read what she is saying she is very right. Shes extremely well written. I just wosh that she was more eloquent with her ways and more tactful. That would make her more likable to me.

I would love to hear AB make music highlighting her insights on oppression like this subject. I imagine that being epic.

While most of us are praising AB for the TGJ-reported commentaries she does, I would love exciting new music to give her as much praise.

Middle Easterners and North Africans are extremely racist towards black people, I don’t know how they survive in such places.

    • Bih December 22, 2016

      you must be middle eastern

      • S****** Blonde December 22, 2016

        I’m Swedish, thank you.

      You’re racist towards black people

    • Jay Alford December 23, 2016

Arab Muslims from Saudi Arabia invaded the adjacent African continent and enslaved the people in a genocide that is still going on today with over 2 million Black people still enslaved from Mauritania to Yemen to Saudi Arabia. The Leftwing media, politicians, social movements and other Muslims are completely silent about this. Wicked. Blacks people in America had it bad but our brothers in Muslim countries were actually castrated, mad their wives r**** and Black babies killed which is why so few Black people exist in the ME today.

If we’re gonna say Black Lives Matter they need to matter GLOBALLY. America is full of Black billionaires and millionaires whom I can’t figure out what they’re doing to help their own people and mother continent, Jews would never let their own suffer like this.

It seems Akon has heavily invested in Africa’s development. Thank Good if that’s true and shame on those who could’ve helped but didn’t take the time to.

    • Amerikkka’s Most Wanted ~ Tyler December 22, 2016

We can’t help people in other countries until we can fix what’s going on right here in our own back yard. When we do, then we can try to make a change in other places. Because black people, all over the world, are seeing hard times right now.

  12. Niggro Please December 22, 2016

Wow this is beyond sad and shameful. I wish I could so something about it. Those people are terrorizing innocent people.
